I regularly visit the pita land in Scarborough at Morningside. The Scarborough location is delicious and the best shawarma in the GTA in my opinion. I was so happy to see there was a location in Oshawa. I tried to visit the Oshawa location several times without success the store was always closed even when the hrs posted said it would be open. I finally managed to go in when it was open. My first thought, I was turned off as there is bird cages for sale and the worker was cleaning a bird cage when I came in so right away not thinking amazing things. In my opinion bird cage sales and food sales don't go together. I still gave them a shot. The garlic they are using for their garlic paste is rotten. They smeared it all over the pita and the potatoes and it was 100% rotten garlic being used had that very very off strong garlic taste. The chicken also had a ton of grit in it. Not nearly the same quality as the Scarborough location. I have never got grit in my chicken shawarma at the ScarboroughMorningside location. At the Oshawa location every bite had grit. I ended up throwing the food out it totally turned me off won't be going back to this location again.

I go there once in a while, if I'm in the area, and I see others come back too, the wrap is a good size, and the plate is filling, the spices are great, I don't know how he makes it but it makes you come back

I am a carnivore and after explaining the owner was extremely accommodating to my dietary needs.
Went in for lunch yesterday ordered a chicken shawarma. Delicious fresh and made by a wonderful friendly and kind gentleman. Enjoyed it so much today I brought my son in and everything was perfect ! Friendly staff . We felt welcomed and valued as customers. Definitely my new Shwarma spot. My son had a gyro and said it's the best he's had so far! Definitely returning definitely recommend!!
Used to be my favorite shawarma place. Today I got 3 chicken wraps. when I got back home , I found them almost veggie wraps with very small amount of chicken. Not cool.

Have visited them twice during lunch time. Tried couple of times in the evening also but it was closed although as per google it was open both times. Have tried their chicken and beef shawarma but they don't serve beef instead lady gave me gyro. Veggies look fresh and they have variety of sauces but meat she fills in is so little. Both times I felt like I was eating falafel shawarma
