The service was friendly enough, however, the worker doesn’t know how to wrap a pita, which when working in a pita pit, should probably be of importance. Did not offer me any toppings to be grilled, and when I asked for extra tomatoes, she put the regular amount, and I had to ask her twice to add more. When a guest is spending $15/$20 per pita… give them what they want. This was my first time at this Pita pit, as I love the brand, but will not be back to this location.

What a joke. Got a regular deli club. $16.50 gets you 1 slice of ham, 1 slice of turkey and 1 piece of bacon. These are milliliter thick deli slices. Must've cost about 75 cents in protein to make this.
Hell yeah. I don't know what to say, but I was touched cuz the employee working there cared too much about my dietary restrictions since I am eating only plant-based food. Like, I'm telling you, I've never experienced something like this anywhere, the guy really cared and a really nice chat. The food is tasty, there more options for the toppings than in other places. 💌.

Was craving for shawarma but instead got a poor quality super expensive copy of a vegetable Subway sandwich. For $16.26 for a regular chicken shawarma, I got loads of vegetables identical to Subway like olives, red onions, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, feta cheese, etc and very minuscule amount of chicken; more like a salad wrap than a shawarma. It was like 80% vegetables and 20% chicken and the whole thing was super small for such and expensive wrap. They also have like 15 different sauces like Subway. I would walk a few more steps and eat a footlong chicken sandwich at Subway instead for the same price and be more fulfilled. Even the chicken didn’t taste like grilled donair style but more like manufactured frozen chicken like Subway’s. Staff was great 8/10 but food was abysmal -20/10. If you want authentic middle eastern shawarma, go to Reetaj in downtown instead where you’ll get twice the size of shawarma with almost all meat for around $12.

This was our first visit to Pita Pit and we loved the food! It was fresh and had great flavor. Only problem was that it gave us both tummy aches later. We had to wonder about the cleanliness of the place after that. At $32CN for two with drinks, it was good value. The dining room is very basic, but it's a pita, so what do you expect!

I am a regular customer at this pita pit, it is my favourite lunch spot near my work. I eat here at least once a week, usually more than that - the service is fast! I can always expect to be in and out in quickly even during lunch rush. The employees are consistent and pleasant, 9 times out of 10 they already have my order into the system before I can get to the register. Always a nice place to stop for lunch!

Terrific staff and food!!!
Update for response: I reached out to the email provided BEFORE writing a review to see how they’d respond but they offered me points for the app which I don’t have, no gift card, reimbursement or anything. That’s why I ended up writing the review.
This is the second time I came here and both times it was such a disappointment. Everything was stale and just poor quality.
I will avoid this location moving forward.
Dirty inside and the employees are horrible, extremely rude and don’t seem to want to do the job they are employed to do. Ran out of a sauce when I asked for more and the employee mumbled under her breath and complained to co workers the entire way back.
Avoid this location

Ordered on their website for pick up, should've been ready at 4:20. Showed up, and they claimed to have never recieved the order, didn't bother to look for it through the computer at first, and didn't explain why they didn't have the order. (We were at the correct location) Avoided giving real answers or apologizing and we had to wait an extra 20 mintues for the food. I suggested the girl let management know their website ordering doesn't work, especially since people who paid beforehand may have their money stolen by pita pit, but she laughed and said nothing. didn't follow order instructions, and portions are RIDICULOUSLY small.

Never ordered pita pit before in store. Asked for a buffalo chicken Caesar and got ridiculed for ordering wrong. Then the cashier proceeded to speak to another employee about me and laugh at me behind the counter. Second experience I've had like this from a fast food place in Durham. Hire better people.

I don't know what to tell you but the employee just doesn't have skills to make a pita correctly. My pita was over loaded with lettuce, cheese and mayo. Barley an southwest sauce. There was no even distribution of the sauce or other ingredients. If you're reading this just go to the Kingston rd one in Pickering. Or the ajax location on harwood. Haven't tried the north oshawa location up on harmony yet. But this location seems to survive based on desperate construction workers needing something fast off the highway.
Customer Service & Food 10/10
I highly recommend this pita pit location!(especially for vegetarians)
Firstly, their falafel is delicious (much better than most places), and the veggies are always fresh. I also had no issue asking for extra sauce/veggies.
Secondly, the owner & staff really make an effort to ensure the customer is happy. I had an issue with an app promo, and the owner went above & beyond to rectify the issue. You can tell they really care about the customer experience, which was very refreshing.
Thank you again & will definitely be back! :)
Great food & excellent service!
Cheap staff isn't the way to go... the service my wife and I just received was the worst by far...staff did NOT understand what my wife was asking for, then proceeded to tell my wife that there is no difference between white and whole wheat.. argued about grilling the pita...where do we draw the line with this.. will not be returning to this location again
