Reetaj Middle Eastern Restaurant

Wow!! One of the best shawarmas in town!! The meat was really tender and the rice was flavourful. So much better than any franchise out there for shawarmas!

I had a great experience at Reetaj. The food was tasty and freshly made — you can tell they put care into the cooking. The menu had a good variety. Service was friendly, although a bit slow at times, but nothing that ruined the experience. I’d definitely come back and recommend it if you’re in the area and looking for a solid meal.

I have a feeling the place has better potential, food, and service. It's just that the day we went, we were served the wrong combo (mix instead of chicken only), too much sauce (wasn't given an option). The veal shawarma felt dry.

Overall, the taste was 6/10, imho.

It was my first time visiting and I went with my husband. As soon as we walked in we knew it was going to be good as it had multiple people. The amazing smell drew us in immediately! We were in there for about 5 min and we had already ordered and gotten our food, the service was so quick and friendly. The food was incredible! We didn’t know what to expect at first but we took one bite and right away knew it was gonna be great. The price of the meals is also amazing! The portions are definitely worth it for the price as nothing was over priced in any way! The whole experience was a 10/10 and will definitely be coming back!!

Best middle eastern food in durham. I don't even bother with the franchises that are around, they can actually learn from Reetaj restaurant how food should be prepared and served. This place is always delicious 😋

This is the BEST place for their falafel in all of Durham Region!! And probably of the GTA. No other place compares to here 💯% Every thing is freshly made from scratch. The staff are so pleasant. I highly recommend Reetaj to everyone. An absolute must!!
