Don't think---just go eat here!!! I've been there a number of times over the years for dinner and now have recently started going in for lunch and the food is simply fantastic and consistent! Went in for lunch today and this is probably the most perfect time to go. It's not too busy, the ambience is quiet and most importantly the lunch menu is (insert chef's kiss)! I ordered the salmon and my hubby ordered the cod and both dishes were just perfection. The fish on both plates were moist, appropriately cooked; the veggies nice and hot right off the skillet. The portion was the right amount and the value for it was 100% worth it. We also ordered the beet salad with the shrimp and that was an entire gastronomic experience on its own. The chef and owner both came over to say hello to us and they were both so kind, hospitable and very much invested in the customer experience. I highly recommend this establishment and encourage diners to book a time where you can really sit down and enjoy the meal without having to rush out the door. The staff take their food and service seriously and each dish is an incredible explosion in your mouth!!! The waitress also deserves a mention; just on top of taking care of you and not pushy but was able to recommend good dishes to us. Thank you to all the staff and management that make the dining exceptional here!

Want an amazing meal at Shrimp Cocktail. Everything is hand made from scratch and full of flavors. Wanda has owned this place for 30 years. Love supporting local if you haven't been you will not be disappointed. The atmosphere is great, service is great and I love the menu the chef puts together.

We hadn't been here in about 4-5 years. It was a pleasure to see Wanda again. I have to say that initially, I was disappointed in the menu. I didn't recognize anything on it. We stayed and are so happy that we did. We tried a vegan appetizer that was absolutely delicious and then I asked for shrimp (because that's what I always have) but it wasn't on the menu. They accommodated me with a very generous portion of absolutely perfectly cooked shrimp that I ate there and took the rest home to eat for lunch the next day. My husband loved his perfectly cooked salmon on the Chermoula puree. The best part was that the chef came to our table and asked us if we had any questions about the new menu. We did and he graciously explained things to us. It was so delicious and so lovely that i told my husband that I want my birthday party held here at the end of May. Hopefully it will be a surprise! :) Shrimp Cocktail has always pushed the envelope with new flavors and new trends. They've really done a delightful job this time and I can't wait to go back for dinner.

Great place to visit for a night out! The quality of the food is for sure a level up from most of the restaurants in the area. I had the pickerel and the restaurant was very accommodating with my aversion to spice and let me swap out the items that were spicy for something mild. Would for sure return!

My husband and I have had the privilege of dining at this fine establishment several times and each and every time, they do not disappoint! The food is delicious, the service is great - they are very attentive, and the ambience is simply beautiful. This restaurant is such a great local fine dining establishment and I would absolutely recommend it to others. We will be back!

My boyfriend and I had dinner here for Valentines Day (the romantic atmosphere of the restaurant could have done without some of the tacky holiday decor). Great customer service, they were very flexible about rescheduling our reservation, friendly when we arrived and throughout our time there. We sat at 7:30 and immediately put in our food/drink order, drinks were good, food didn’t come out until ~8:45. The white wine mussels are 10/10! Great appetizer (2-4 people). Our main courses were a bit underwhelming, but we think it was mostly the anticipation from the wait. Also! There’s hardly any cell reception in the restaurant. Overall great place for a date night, maybe don’t go during a super busy night.
