The staff use to be alright, now they hold my drink back 10-15 minutes beyond my pick time or just don't make it until well after I've already arrived. I order 5-10 minutes ahead on purpose & it's not for these inconsiderate staff to make me wait an extra 10-15 minutes.
Today one of them just walked off with my drink towards the far end from the pick up counter for 10 extra minutes for NO reason.
I'll be contacting head office to enquire about why the staff feel empowered to harass me via order delaying over & over.
I'm exceptionally friendly every time I'm in there & I haven't bothered to discuss this issue with their team because at this point it's an issue that's reoccurred over a half dozen times already.

It seems to be a common issue with this location and only this location with wait times. I go to around 6 different Starbucks, and the issue is only here. Busy locations as well. Hire more employees who can actually keep up with the demand of location. I’ve waited 26 Minutes from my mobile order, to get the drink with the eta of 20. Only two employees were making drinks during that time. When I got my drink, more employees showed up to finally help. Where were those employees to begin with during a rush? If this happens again, I’m done with this location.

the ladies working this morning didn’t want to give me a refund. I placed a mobile order as thats the fastest for me and I was in a hurry. On my app it said 15-17 minute wait and I was not ok with that so I went in and politely asked for a refund on my drink. The ladies in there said sure and proceeded to make other drinks. I guess they thought I just wanted my drink made faster but at this point I didn’t even want the drink I just wanted a refund. The one girl stood on the other end staring at me and the lady that was making my drink was asking me about some tv show. Again, I was in an hurry and had no interest in that conversation. After a while she gave me my drink and I left pissed bc that’s not what I was asking for. I’ve never had this experience before but I hope they understand the importance of listening to their customers.

Not sure what has changed at this location but the service has dropped significantly. The servers behind the counter seem mis-managed. We have been there four times in the last two weeks and they have failed to serve both our drinks together. There always seems to be a 5-10 minute wait between drinks. Not sure why there seems to be such unorganized workers, maybe management has changed and they are not training their servers properly. Avoid this location if you are in a hurry.
Not good coffee for the price
Worst Starbucks. Took about 30 minutes to get three drinks. They were done badly. It was clear that the baristas were prioritizing online orders vs in person orders and had a massive confusion on whose drinks were whose. It was obvious baristas were neither trained nor properly resourced.

I've been coming here for a few months daily, I've gotten to the point where a review is necessary. I order my coffee about 20 minutes before picking it up. Used to order 5-10 minutes before but I've learned that lesson. Even with ordering 20 minutes ahead of time I arrive and still wait another 5 minutes for my drink. Even when it isn't busy, I strongly feel that since they have so many new hires, to not have them work during a morning rush hour or at least give them the support they need to get through the orders promptly. The other day I went in after ordering, I saw my coffee sitting under the espresso bar, and yet they moved on to a few others until I said something. Super annoying to order ahead and still wait so long, shouldn't have the option to mobile order if they can't keep up with them.
Drinks are made right but they take forever to get made.

I am a frequent visitor at this location. They are usually good, but lately the service has been lacking.
Today my friend and I placed mobile orders (1 iced coffee and 2 shots of espresso) and it took nearly 40 minutes to get our drinks. The employees had no sense of urgency considering there was a group of people waiting around for their orders.

Good service, food, and atmosphere, even my autistic child, are welcome to this place. Unlike the Swiss chalet location in Scarborough Town Center, Plaza has a very bad service and environment for special needs kids.

The partners are nice and friendly, and my drink is usually good (not always), but they are SLOW at this location. Even when they apologize for the wait and say it’s been busy, they still don’t move any faster. I speak from personal experience working at a busy location that things could move much quicker and more efficiently at this location with having two espresso bars and only cafe and mobile orders, not even a drive thru.

The baristas and manager are excellent at this location. They spend time explaining drinks, have a great welcoming demeanor, and gave my daughter a great experience! Would highly recommend.
