Teddy's is a great place for some homestyle food. I ordered a BLT and they did not skimp on the bacon, which was cooked perfectly. The service was fantastic, with the servers being attentive and friendly; I almost felt like a regular, even though it was my first time there. The overall atmosphere is like a classic diner. Definitely adding this to my list of spots to eat at in Oshawa!

My husband and I have been dining at Teddy’s for decades. We decided to go to Teddy’s while we were in town because it is both our favourites. Out of all the restaurants in Durham region we choose Teddy’s. We both order the Chicken Parm dinner and upgraded our Salads to medium. Asked for extra dressing for it since it’s a bigger salad and was told that will be an extra charge. We were not happy and said “ are you serious “ to the waitress. Her response was “ don’t shoot the messanger I just work here” We just continued with our dinner. Ordered dessert and the rice pudding has doubled in price and half the size. I understand price inflation but this is just crazy. The extra cost for the salad dressing on an upgraded salad just leaves a very sour taste in my mouth still after a few days. Also we ordered a Coconut cream pie only to get home to realize no whip topping very very disappointed. I think this business is going downhill for service, original quality, and family oriented roots since changing ownership. We have spoke to the young owner a few times at Mr. Burger and he said “ he wasn’t going to change anything.” Well I’ve witnessed change and not for the better.

Large portions of food. but l found the taste a bit bland.
The establishment is a little dated and there is only one drink refill, which may have worked when the pricing was cheaper, but at the cost of food today, it would be nice to have more than one refill.
There is haste from the staff to get you in and out, so l didn't feel it was a comfortable night out.
Bit of a shame.

Ordered for delivery. Second time ordering from here for delivery. Missing items again. We contacted restaurant the first time this happened and was told speak to Uber. Uber just gives credit and won’t deliver the items missing. Thought we would give it a second try and ordered 2 turkey dinners this time and missing both turkey gravy’s. Contacted Uber and again only a credit. Try eating a turkey dinner with no gravy. Contacted restaurant again to speak to them about it. Girl passes phone off to what I would assume is a manager. She says it’s not their fault and to talk to Uber. I said to her, are you guys the ones who packed the meals? She says yes. I said then this is your fault not theirs. Customer service is atrocious. Our bill was $164 for 4 dinners and this will be the last time they get a dime from us. Do better!

Everything runs like a tight ship from the entry line to the dining room staff to the kitchen. Kudos to the owners, management & especially the kitchen & wait staff. Quality food, consistently great everything

I have tried this restaurant a few times before making this review. The food here is decent and I love the way prepare meat especially peameal bacon. However, while this place had the potential to be to become my favourite breakfast and dinning place in Oshawa it comes short when it comes to treating the customers which is the most important thing to me. The sad reality is that the staff treat people of color and basically people that are not white differently and they don’t even try to hide that well. So if u are not white I would not recommend u coming to this place. And if u r, it is going to be ur favourite place.
