Great service, delicious food and drink and the view was unmatched. Felt like I was having lunch at the gardens in versailles.
I ordered the turkey wrap with house chips and soup along with the sangria.

wasps wasps wasps!!! wasps everywhere

we were attacked by wasps at the restaurant. next table got stung. It was apparently normal occurrence for this place as the servers were NOT surprised at all. The servers were very nice and they put out honey, sugar water and tried to distract the wasps but to no avail. We were told this happened a lot in the open garden and they were very apologetic but unfortunately it didn't make a difference. they really need to hire an exterminator to find and relocate the wasp nest/s.

we were there for about 45 min and changed table twice but the wasps kept coming back to eat our food and drinks. we were constantly being attacked and surrounded by wasps. we could not enjoy our afternoon tea AT ALL despite sitting next to the fountain with a good view.

good thing none of us were allergic to wasps.

good place for photos but DEFINITELY not a good place to eat. felt scammed being charged 18% tips and paying $90 pp given the ordeal we had to go through.

My salad was delish and the gardens and fountain—so pretty! And they have mimosas!

Very cold. Lots of bees which were annoying. The food was fine.

There were wasps everywhere on our food and drinks making it very frustrating and hard for us to enjoy our experience. In fact, a lady at the table behind us screamed out in pain because she got stung. The food was stale, bland, and way overpriced and they expected a big tip for it all. Huge disappointment as a teahouse with only a few tea selections offered. They ran out of honey so I couldn't have my tea as I like to. I tried their coffee. Their creamers had turned bad though. Their high tea was highly overpriced for what little was offerred and the poor quality of the food. I've had way better high teas elsewhere. We had to tell our server what was on the lunch menu instead of the other way around as there was massive confusion about which menu was in effect. The item I wanted wasn't available but listed on the menu. The fountain and flower gardens were pretty to look at, but that was about all there was that was positive. Huge areas for improvement there.

Food was good. Very small portions. Wasps in our food and faces (a lot of them). Service was good. Price was crazy. And the automatic tip added!? I won’t be going back. Dear lord. These places are getting out of hand.

Food was decent. I had the salmon teriyaki and it was okay. Noodles were cold, would have preferred them warm.
Atmosphere is where it is really spectacular

Terrible service , makes you wait for 45 mins if you don’t have reservation. But when you try to do it online they say no reservations available for this date for 2 people.
They say you have to wait till you get served, but no one pays attention to you. Once you go inside after waiting and no one paying attention, they say wait I will ask someone else if we have reservations, when you can clearly see there’s many tables available and there’s only 1.5h for closing. So if you give me the reservation after 45 mins of waiting (for no apparent reason of delay) do you want me to order food and pack it and leave ?

No polite service, pretty arrogant and stubborn

Very relaxing, and we got a view that's very pleasing to the eyes. The food was delicious, and the servers were very attentive and accommodating. Highly recommended, just make sure you make the reservations beforehand as they might be booked for the day.

Had a great lunch today. Service was fabulous as our waiter was friendly and very attentive. Providing suggestions of drinks on a hot day. Even made us a surprise fruit mix. Food was very good, enjoyed it all. The gardens are beautiful. Only thing Mother Nature friends (wasps) were a bit too active but we still enjoyed the day.
