We came in for the 69 cent wings tonight service was amazing but the wings have changed lots of broken bones let me believe they a seconds hence the price.

The butter chicken was served up with 3 pieces of chicken on the bone covered in sauce. Never ever had butter chicken served this way it was horrible. Won’t stop me eating in the Toadstool but I will never order the butter chicken again. You really should think about changing how you prepare and serve this dish.

We have ordered from The Toad Stool multiple times through Door Dash and it's always consistently good. We've never been disappointed by any of their food, and we've ordered multiple different items from here. One of our faves is the stuffed mushrooms. We've only ever been there once but the service was good, it was a quiet atmosphere when we went.

The food is absolutely incredible. Always perfectly cooked. We had the drunken chicken cooked to perfection as well as the steak sandwich, which was amazing! So much flavour… onion rings are awesome. We’ve been to so many restaurants and we’ve decided we spent way too much money at other places for subpar food. This is made to order and simply incredible food. Everything is fresh. The prices are amazing! And not freezer food that they just threw on the grill. Everything is fresh. Love this pub!

I'm revising a previous review. My family and I had many great meals here but a recent one has me questioning if we'll come back.

I ordered butter chicken, which tends to be my default order in most restaurants that serve it. The Naan was good, the sauce tasted good but the chicken was entirely on the bone. I don't object to dark meat, as it can have more flavour than white but it doesn't work well in a dish like this when its still on the bone and has to be separated in place, in sauce and on the bed of rice. If the same meat was used but off the bone I would have enjoyed it more.

Our second issue was with the Pad Thai that my son ordered. He's had Pad Thai many places but found it didn't taste right to the point we suspected they'd made a mistake and served the wrong dish. We were assured it was right. We took home most of it as leftovers and I tried to eat it today. I believe the issue is over cooking. The chicken pieces were dried out and the sauce was so dark I think it was burned. This gave the chicken a beef like consistency. The overall taste of the sauce was scorched and or burned. It's such a shame because we both like Pad Thai.

The food is the star here. Some of the best wings. Suicide flavor is actually hot. Owner is hands on and goes above an beyond. Small and cosy, hidden in the heart of the suburbs. Great casual spot for drinks and food.

A small place with big flavour. You would honestly expect this place to just be about the drinks and sports, but the food is so good. At this point I've had about 15 different menu items and I'll say, they all come out with fresh ingredients and great taste. Matt is a great chef, the owner is a great person and their servers are always kind, polite and speedy. The toadstool is an underated gem
