Menu used to be a big pull for me, but the British and Scottish options, and Irish beers seemed to have decreased.

Been going to this place since my college days. Always a great spot.

Service is always good and they have a great selection of beer.

Food isn't the same as it used to be but still good. Kitchen sink nachos are good but aren't as big or come in the tortilla bowl now. Wings have gone downhill and not a favourite of mine. Fish and chips are good and the pickles are always fantastic.

Overall, I still go there despite the changes. I guess nothing stays the same.

I had the pleasure of being served by the bartender (Rebecca I believe) recently, and I was genuinely impressed. From the moment I sat down, she was incredibly kind and welcoming, which instantly made the atmosphere more enjoyable. She was quick with taking orders and making drinks, but never rushed—everything was done with care and precision.

What stood out the most was her attentiveness. She kept an eye on everyone at the bar, making sure no one was waiting too long or needed anything. It’s rare to find someone who balances efficiency and friendliness so well. On top of that, she offered thoughtful drink recommendations based on what we liked, and they were spot on!

It’s clear she takes pride in what she does, and it really elevated the whole experience. Excellent service all around. I’ll definitely be back and hope she’s behind the bar again!

I have been coming to the weasle for a while now, always enjoyed the servers and bartenders. Recently Ive been served by a new bartender and her service is abysmal. The most unkind and unpleasant person I have come across. I love the weasle but this bartender had been making my experience beyond terrible. She is a very unwelcoming person.

On the evening of June 22nd, which I am noting so the owners can easily identify the staff on duty, my companion and I stopped in for a brief drink while our meal was being prepared at the neighboring establishment.

We observed a table of seven guests on the patio. Inside, we noticed two tables occupied by two people each, which didn't seem very busy, and we thought that might not be a positive sign for the establishment. We took a seat at a table. While we were seated, I observed another couple had entered and were waiting to be greeted and seated. We had set a timer on our watch for 20 minutes, as that was the estimated time for our food preparation next door.

With five minutes remaining on the timer, the couple at the door turned around and left, as they had not been greeted. I then stood up to look for a member of the staff. The woman appeared to be behind the counter, possibly entering a tab, she was alone frustrated with herself and her situation. However, she did not look up or acknowledge the people waiting outside, the door or us. With only three minutes left on our 20-minute timer, a server approached us with the menu and inquired if she could assist us. We exchanged glances and decided that it was unlikely that she could bring us our drinks within the remaining ten minutes, let alone the three minutes we had left. Therefore, we decided to leave.

It appears that a minimum of four customers were lost due to the visible staff member seeming overwhelmed while serving three tables in a bar with a capacity of 150. Could it have been a challenging day?

Could you please elaborate on what transpired?

Furthermore, I am curious as to how many additional patrons might be lost as a result of this issue with customer service.

Been a regular here for a bit. Donna treated me horribly in front of other servers then tried to gaslight me and say she did nothing wrong and when i declined to speak to her so she could “explain that she did nothing wrong” (not apologize) she took it upon herself to run her mouth about me right behind me. Contacted the manager to discuss the terrible treatment and was assured she would be spoken to and that action would be taken. My only hope is that she learns from this and tries to do better but I doubt that will happen.

The rest of the staff are great and the only issue ive encountered there is being harassed by a grown woman.

Not sure what's going on, but after 20 years we will never be back. Horrible nachos, wings and even the fries were raw. I really think the nachos were microwaved. Wtf.....

If I could rate lower, I would. Specifically came out to see Abby. Now they have a new girl on bar. Couldn't be more unimpressed with her. Only saving grace was jessie.

Excellent burger and fries.

This was our first time eating here. The atmosphere was awesome! Lacking was an accessible washroom. My son is in an electric wheelchair. He was not able to get to the washroom.
