The food is amazing here. People are really nice. It looks like an old bar but the food makes up for it. Steaks are the best perfectly cooked and the fish and chips are just really good. The pan fried and the deep fried are so good. They really have good food here. You will not regret trying them. Will definitely come again.

The food is okay. It's what some might call old people food - kind of bland, and nothing innovative or particularly special. Little to no vegetarian options. Like other reviews have mentioned, my group was asked to leave by the owner (and not nicely, I might add) the moment our plates were cleared, before any of us were done our coffees, because they wanted our table.
Arrived at the restaurant at 7:30 am and they don't open until 8 am and I remembered this is Owen Sound and life moves a little slower here. It was worth the wait! The waitress was very professional and attended to my wants and needs without seeming rushed or put out. However I quickly realized as some of the "regulars" came in she was warm and accommodating. I believe if I make this a regular breakfast spot I would receive the same treatment. Kudo's to the wait staff. I do not know if the person who cooked my breakfast was the owner but they greeted me warmly as I entered the restaurant and the Breakfast was absolutely perfect. Very pleased with my experience here. I had just got off an 8 hour midnight shift and went home happy and satisfied! Definitely discovered an Owen Sound Treasure here.
