Visited Aug 20,2025 and really wasn't the best meal. Waited an hour for meal to come out. Order was wrong and cold. Ate and left

This review is for the owner/manager. Your staff was so busy the day we came in, and all you could do was stand around and tell them to go do something else while they were busy doing the first task you barked at them to do. We came close to leaving because we were disgusted with the way you treat your staff. Even our 10 year old noticed and asked why you weren't helping with the tables. Some people aren't made to be managers, and you sir, should never have been put in that position.

Good, freshly prepared food with good sized portions. Excellent fries! The server was a bit unsure of himself, and their old fashioned bottled pop selection that was listed on their menu didn't exist. It was fountain pop or canned only. Overall, a good experience with tasty food and a really fun atmosphere. It was also kept exceptionally clean!

Very slow service. Portions where ok, but found 2 hard chunks of something in my fries.

Great atmosphere. The staff very friendly. Had the hot dog and fries and chicken tenders. Had our dog so ate on tables outside. Umbrellas would have been nice to share from the sun

The breakfast was on top of the list with 2 eggs, sausage, potatoe with onion, and black coffee. In 74 years it was the worsh breakfast I ever ate. The eggs were edible, the sausage stasted terrible but generous amount, the fried potatoes were horrible. They didn't taste and look like potatoes and the onions were steamed and tasted terrible also. I will never go there ago again. It was my first and last time there. My stomach was sick for about 6-8 hours after. The waitress was friendly. That was because I didn't complain about anything. I just got up and walked out never to return.

Great little retro style diner. Good prices, large portions, and good service. It's a new favorite spot. The milkshakes are a must try!

My family and I recently dined at Elsie’s Diner in Springmount, and unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired.

My brother ordered a chicken Caesar wrap with extra dressing, along with fries and a pop. Upon receiving the meal, he immediately noted that the wrap was extremely soggy and unappetizing. He politely informed the waitress that he would not be eating it due to its poor quality. She responded kindly at first, took the wrap away, and we assumed the issue would be handled appropriately.

However, when the bill arrived, we were surprised to see he had been charged for the full meal. When he questioned this, the waitress became defensive and argumentative, insisting the sogginess was due to the extra dressing rather than an issue with preparation or quality. Regardless of the cause, the wrap was not edible and was returned uneaten—yet he was still required to pay in full.

This lack of accountability and poor customer service was disappointing. What began as a pleasant outing turned into a frustrating experience, and unfortunately, we won’t be returning. Based on this visit, I would not recommend Elsie’s Diner to others.

Worst food I have tasted in long time. Had fish and chips. Fish batter was so thick
And raw on inside. Taste was not good. Doughy and soggy. Fries had obviously been reheated a few times. Coleslaw just not good. Did not eat food, me and my friend were terribly disappointed. Price was high for inedible food.
Service was very slow, 4 servers, all moving but not working, took them at least 5-10 minutes to take order and at least 15 minutes to bring food. And it is not even that they were busy, only 6 other tables being used. Just slow. So with 4 servers there was no excuse for this service. Will never go back!
