When you have a FANTASTIC meal for breakfast (Eggs Bennies and Blueberry pancakes - OMG!!! 😋 😋 😋) with the BEST service you've had in ages you may think it's a one-off.

So we tried dinner again tonight.

We were a table of five with a charming young man named Kiran as out server. He was absolutely AMAZING!! Kind, funny, chatty (but just the right amount), had us all feeling great before our meals even hit the table. Then BAM!! We're overwhelmed with the perfect everything!! My fish and chips were perfectly cooked, nice batter, huge pieces of fish and big, fat beefeater fries with what I assume was a homemade gravy that tasted like mom used to make. My son said it was the best poutine ever (next to his Uncle's - who also owns a restaurant), my husband had the Chicken Stir Fry fry with a side Caesar salad and he LOVED it. Nice flavours, not too bold or bland. Our friends had the Halibut and fries and the Chicken Tenders and House Salad with Raspberry Vinaigrette that were all to die for.. especially the dressing! Everything was beautifully presented and served quickly with a smile, every attention to detail was noted. They ran out of coleslaw for our fish and halibut meal and made us beautiful house salads instead!
It even started to downpour just as we were finishing and heading out to get ice cream, and Kiran volunteered to get us those as well!

I know I sound like I'm gushing.. because I AM!! Seriously an A+++ experience and we would all HIGHLY recommend having a meal here. I don't know how they train their staff, but my husband and I both said they have the most wonderful individuals working here. Such a pleasure to dine!!

The flies inside the restaurant were terrible. Our server disappeared once food arrived. Food was fine.

Understaffed...not that busy...both meals served with French fries...both orders tasted like they were fried in the fish oil...took forever to get the food... waitress was friendly and overwhelmed

I often forget that this restaurant exists but last night was truly a disappointment. We asked to sit on the patio and then waited 40 min before a server came out. Two other tables were seated and served before us even with me pointing it out. When the food finally came my partners burger had a hair in it. They have raised their prices but apparently not their service to go with it. Can’t say I will be returning anytime soon unfortunately

The gravy was awful but she would not remove it from my bill when I complained and couldn't eat it for only 1.99 do even though the burger was delicious it was tainted by the experience
