Nathaniel's has been closed for a while now. A new restaurant called Papi's Eatery is going in but has not yet opened so dont go looking for Nathaniel's!

For some reason, people in Owen Sound do not update the google profiles of restaurants. We drove here and discovered that the restaurant has been closed for the entirety of the pandemic. And would not open until October! I posted a picture of the closure letter on the door, but the restaurant deleted it. Hope this place opens soon as its reputation proceeds it.

Great little fancy restaurant where the prices are fair and drinks are reasonable. Staff are fantastic and places is kept spotless.

WE had a gift certrificate to use and took advantage of the good weather to visit Nathaniel"s for lunch. The lunch menu was large. My wife had bacon wrapped scallops followed by veal. I had french onion soup followed by fresh white fish. They had a good wine selection. We indulged in cheesecake and pecan pie. Tea was seved in a proper pot . The service was great and lunch very enjoyable.

Had a great dinner, nice sized portions and full of flavour. The prime rib special my husband ordered was so good, it was hard not to steal his plate from him. Our server, Natika, was attentive, funny, and really added to the night in a positive way. Great little spot!

Our friends, my husband and I had a lovely dinner here. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. What a lovely place for a romantic dinner, or a special occasion dinner. We will revisit the next time we come to Owen Sound!

Not many fine dining restaurants in this area. Luckily we happened to try Nathaniels on the advice of a neighbour. Excellent choice. The menu was varied and seasonal. Our steaks were cooked as ordered, vegetables were nicely al dente. Beef barley soup wonderful. Overall a very good and well presented meal, with unobtrusive but gracious service. A great find.
Had an absolutely fantastic experience. Waitress treated us like gold. Beef barley soup was excellent, as was the bruschetta. I had the haddock special, and my date had steak (which I got to finish.) Everything...absolutely delicious. I will gladly come back again.

This is a must visit for fine dining in Owen sound. It hit a great combination of reasonable prices and amazing food. Certainly a great spot for a nice dinner date, or small gathering. I will certainly return next chance I get.

We have been coming to the Owen Sound area for the last few years and just found Nathaniel's...and how we didn't find it before alludes us but we definitely plan on becoming regulars. The restaurant is beautifully appointed, the service was impeccable and the food was delicious. Surf and turf was our pleasure this evening and it was cooked to perfection. The wine selection is plentiful and the price point was excellent. From start to finish it was a pleasurable dining experience that we look forward to experiencing again.
