Amazing, crispy fish and chips. Really flavorful coleslaw too. We got the sweet potato fries and onion rings too, everything tasted good altogether!

Was disappointed in the serving size compared to when I was there last.(6 months?) 1/2 size take out containers than previous, less than 1/2 the fries- same price if not a little more. I can definitely understand changing costs, but it was disappointing & unexpected. However fish & chips are tasty!

Nice Fish & Chips restaurant in Owen Sound. The Halibut by far was the best in taste and texture. Haddock wasn't bad either, depending on which piece you get and the White Alaskan was OK. The coleslaw was good and so were the mozzarella sticks. Service and staff were friendly and very courteous. Would revisit if in the area again.

Had the two piece halibut and two piece cod, portions were generous. Food was cooked well, battery was crispy and cooked properly , fries were very good on their own. Will be coming back here again. Service was good and friendly. I very much enjoyed the food here.

Best restaurant North of Toronto! Two visits, four meals, each absolutely fresh, hot, good portions and best coffee hands down! New friends I will bring other friends to enjoy in Owen Sound, we highly recommend the Sail Restaurant!

My wife said to write a glowing review. This, then, is a glowing review. Ordered fish and chips. Large portions, cooked perfectly, prompt service, fresh cooked fries.

If I could give 10 out of 5, I would. I enjoyed every single bite, especially the fries. I ordered the cod with fries and coleslaw. The cod was absolutely delicious, and a large piece, lightly battered. It was so good. I'm not sure if they make their own tartar sauce but holy it was amazing. The fries were clearly hand cut, were hot and fresh, with some kind of seasoning added on them (delicious). I actually placed an order for the wrong location but they were super kind about it (many apologies!!!). I would 100% return if I lived in the area. Absolutely recommend.

Have come regularly for halibut/ chips. Delicious and chips are homemade. Not fond of the purple coleslaw but that’s personal preference. Have also had breakfast several times. Good breakfast and very good value.Plan to persuade more friends to join me here.Vicki T.

Friendly great service… was 30 mins before closing and still served our dinner … tasted great!

Food and service was amazing. I recommend the Mac and cheese bites they were so tasty and the pulled pork poutine was very juicy and just the right amount of gravy will forsure be coming back

As visitors to Meaford, we googled the Sail Restaurant menu. It described a *very* nice sounding Bruschetta, one of my favourite starters. It also advertised crab cakes with homemade mango salso. I love mango anything. My husband was craving pizza, but I convinced him this would be great. Arrived and ordered. No bruschetta, the wait person didn't know what I was talking about and it wasn't on the menu. Ordered the crab cakes, which arrived with no mango salsa - I wasn't clear about the explanation, they were either out of it or didn't serve it anymore. We had the fish & chips, which were good. Overall, disappointed and probably won't go back.

Tried Sail in Meaford about 1 month ago. Food was excellent. Large portions, crispy fish. Tried the Owen Sound location today. Fish was horrible. Small cheap generic fish portions found in Batter was tasteless not crispy whatsoever and fell off the fish. Very disappointing Owen Sound location

Travelling in rural Ontario we found a real gem of a restaurant that cares about the quality of food, service and a safe place to enjoy your meals. Accessible and family friendly. Fresh food that is well prepared to your order. Friendly staff with owner on property. Reasonable prices for a Quality meal. OUTSTANDING !!!

Went for takeout tonight. Waited an hour for an order that they said would be 15-20 mins. The award winning fish had uncooked batter. The BLT was lacking the B! And was a little burnt for my liking! $40 for a meal we picked apart and through out the rest.

The Benedict was amazing..best sauce I ever tasted. I could see the care and concern for the customers...great environment. I hope you find some great full-time staff to help you with the summer crowd..
