server was excellent. ordered saganaki off menu. then told they don't have any. ordered chicken souvlaki and I had it years ago at this location/different owners and at many greek restaurants. What I got today was terrible. Had trouble eating any of it. Was not charged for it. My husband's sandwich was mediocre. Caesar salad was good. Meal was served on mismatched corelle with what looked like old utensils. Restaurant was nice but they need a good cook. Sorry to say we won't be back. we still tipped the server as not her fault and we paid for the rest of our meal. need better coffee too. first time I haven't been able to eat meal in a rest.

This was a place we frequent when we lived in Owen Sound. It is back and with a wonderful menu and wonderful service. It has a nostalgic feeling with its movie posters. Priced reasonably with fresh vegetables and some German meals. Highly recommended by us.

The minute we walked in we were warmly welcomed, the waitress & owner were super friendly, the atmosphere was classy & family friendly, and the food was all homemade and soooo sooooo good!!! Shorty's with Friends
I am Shorty’s with Friends granddaughter speaking on behalf of the new owners Anne & Steve. This is not the old shorty’s. These are new owners, new menu, and new food choices. The reasoning behind the images not matching up is because we have no access to the Google business page which is not allowing us to change anything. Prices are reflecting on what they pay for inventory as food nowadays aren’t cheap. They have been closed just before Valentine’s Day due to a blockage by a seagull in the roof draining pipe causing the ceiling to fall in.. yes sounds crazy but accurate. We have updated everything on the Facebook page to ensure we are reopening but we have insurance and workers to wait on so it’s not that simple. They are a small mom&pops business and needs support and not criticism. Thank you.

They've been closed for some 2 and 1/2 years I was told after returning from an extended holiday that they were open again so in an effort to be supportive I check the website ensure if they're open. So I drive 45 minutes to get here and they're not they're closed. Ask me if I'm impressed. They used to have good food they used to update their website when required

I'm just finding the food medicore and the prices, pricey! Any menus posted on FB page is different than when you go; significant price variation.i was there for an event. New owners but the food is the same, with very little change. But I kinda like the atmosphere here, although they had a major leak from their roof in a section of the restaurant when I was there. Thank goodness it didn't affect the room we were in.
