My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to stop in on our way home from our camping trip and discovered this little gem. It was a cute little place run by a couple of wonderful ladies. My boyfriend and I each got the Sunshine Platter and boy was it good! Not greasy at all and everything tasted very fresh. Coffee was also very good and fresh. I wish we lived closer cause this would be a regular spot for us. If we are ever in Owen Spund again, we know we will be going here again. Please go and check these ladies out. It will not disappoint!

I spend my summer weekends in Owen Sound. I like trying out various family restaurants and diners. Here is the one I tried this weekend - Sunshine diner. Great place for breakfast, brunch and lunch. I had eggs benny, my husband had three eggs peameal bacon and toast. Delicious! The coffee was very good. Relaxed friendly atmosphere and the two ladies were lovely. Would recommend trying this lovely diner.

We have been traveling around Owen Sound and this spot is one of the best breakfast places. Everything was fantastic, from the food, hospitality, and service. We'll definitely visit again when we're in town

My son doesn't handle loud, rush, rush, rush atmospheres very well (lvl 1), so when we left stacked and tried here we are so happy to find that they not only have wonderful food, and a comfy atmosphere.
Heres the most important part, even though they were very busy, we were able to TALK not yell. The server was beyond sweet and answered our questions and everyone handled it professionally, made sure to read the labels (and offered to show us the nutritional info with photos) when we asked for the gluten-free options (wife and kid).
My boy wasn't overwhelmed, didn't cry, ate all his food.
Amazing food, amazing service, amazing price!

Would recommend to anyone local or stopping by!
Wonderful staff. Great food!
Very friendly and full of charm. Small place but food was excellent. Portions were perfect and I was amazed at the price. So worth it. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I have eaten here several times now. It's a secret gem, almost hidden in a strip plaza. Today, I enjoyed the breakfast poutine with two poached eggs on home fries with onions, peppers, sausage, and cheese curds, liberally doused with hollandaise sauce. It could also have mushrooms, but I'm allergic.
I also love the signs around the place. This is one of them.
