EDIT: As indicated I told the manager would happen, my staff and I all chose the schwarma place next door for lunch and had a lovely meal!!

I will be the first to admit that I placed my online order at the Palmerston store in error, but within 2 seconds I'd realized my error and called the store. It took seven calls, and at least ten minutes before anybody answered. By then, I was told my order had been started. The manager was contacted, and I was told that because the order was started they would not refund me. I explained that I called immediately after hitting the order button, but nobody answered and that could hardly be the customer's fault. I was told I still wouldn't see any refund or even a store credit. I literally work across the street from this store and regularly purchase subs from them. I explained that this business was at risk should they not compensate me in some way and I was hung up on. For the sake of the cost of 2 subs the manager decided that they no longer wanted my business and they'd much rather have the bad publicity I will provide to my workmates.

As an interesting side note, when I went in person to the store in Stevensville, where I had initially meant to purchase my subs, I was told that it is corporate's policy to always refund an online error.

Honestly, I've given this location more times than I care to admit to fix concerns.
In March 2024 - I went in to order a sub for lunch, all 3 staff working on the dayshift were visibly sick - coughing into shoulder, sniffling nose, etc. I was in line and we ended up leaving because it was just simply gross.
Fall 2025 - went to pick up an order online. Staff guided me to the tray to pick up my order. Left with the order and discovered it wasn't my order nor what I paid for. Staff told me it wasn't their problem when I came back to fix it.
July 2025 - ordered online - website confirmed and charged my credit card. When my spouse went to pick it up, staff said there was no order on their end. Spouse re-ordered and staff completely messed up the order while there - everything was out, or extra cost but of course they wanted payment before they told him. Have reached out to corporate to refund my card.
Long story short - I'll be going to Elmira's location. Never had an issue there except for it being out of the way for timing and location but never had as many issues as I've had with my local location.

Stopped here for a quick supper on way to a room in Palmerston. My wife has lots of allergies and food sensitivities and they patiently helped her to make a choice. As to the food, it was standard Subway fare. The main staff person was great.

I think being the closest subway from Clifford/ Mount Forest and Harriston they should be stocked. There was a lot of out of stock...new dorito nachos for example...I don't go to subway often but I would've liked more options considering there's only pizza around this area...subway should consider opening something in Harriston... Maybe where the old bakery was. The service was okay, only one worker working at 8:30 pm and she was apparently from the Listowel one and wasn't 💯 on the setup yet, not her fault but where was the manager on duty to help? Got the Canuck and it was good toasted on herb and garlic with cheddar.

Stopped in for lunch, we asked for coffee. The girl working said they don't sell coffee at that location even tho it was on the board and there was a coffee pot with coffee in it.. we grabbed a different drink and sat down to eat and before we found a table the next person in line asked for 2 coffees and was given them.. just made the whole situation kinda dumb feeling

The restaurant is not very clean and it's outdated. Cramped seating and not neat. The service was ok, I bought a coffee but was told they only have keruig so I proceeded to make it but there were no k cups any way, so had to get a chocolate milk instead which was sour. The cookies were not even cooked and tasted horrible.
