Great spot for espresso. Rachael made me a fantastic mocha latte, and she made me try their matcha latte. Very good and friendly service. First time there and I will be back when I’m in the area.

Best coffee and avocado toast ever! I love detour coffee and also subscribe to their coffee service.

I was impressed with the options. Very happy with the coconut milk substitute and honey for the matcha iced latte.

Not just coffee!!! Tons of other businesses in the same building. Lots to eat, drink and bring home great treats.

They always make a fantastic drink, and the baked goods are a real treat! Can be very busy during weekend days, but Wincey Mills has plenty of spots to sit indoors or out. Sandwiches can take a long time to prepare when they’re busy, but that’s par for the course in this popular destination.

Very disappointing experience. The brewed coffee tasted extremely sour and unpleasant—most people wouldn’t enjoy it. The quality was poor, but the prices were outrageously high. You can get much better coffee for just $3 at other places. On top of that, there was absolutely no customer service. Not worth the visit at all.

Coffee is expensive and not in good taste (sour taste).

The coffee is excellent, creamy and of high quality, the croissants and other desserts are fresh and good, and there is a variety of options in a small market.

Yesterday: we just spent $30 for three coffees and two cookies. To add to the exhorbitant prices the woman at the counter that served us had a perpetual scowl and barely acknowledged our presence. There are so many other places that will be appreciative of your business and offer good customer service. I do not recommend this place.

The coffee was good, but one oat late wasn't worth almost $10 or $5 for a regular black coffee...
Just another money grab place, perhaps the overhead rent is tooo much ?
We ordered a cappuccino and a chai latte, and they were very good! A perfect morning treat while solving sudoku puzzles and word searches in the local newspaper. Would certainly go back, ideally when the entire market is open!

I absolutely love this cafe and the coffee. However- the staff (most of them anyway) are so unfriendly and rude… it makes me so uncomfortable. Besides that, everything here is 5 star. The coffee is delicious, the cookies and baked goods are to die for! Just please maybe hirer some friendlier people!!

Outstanding Americano, well done!!
Inside, they are attached to a fresh market, an independent brewery and several other small businesses. All in, an interesting experience.

Detour Café at the Wincey Mill is an absolute gem! The staff is always super friendly and welcoming, making every visit a pleasant experience. Their coffee is consistently delicious, and I particularly love my latte with oat milk – it's always perfectly crafted and never disappoints. As someone who is gluten and chocolate free, I do wish they had a few more treat options that cater to these dietary needs, as I'd love to pair my coffee with something sweet. However, the overall experience is fantastic, and I highly recommend it for anyone in the area looking for great coffee and a friendly atmosphere!
