After visiting the restaurant twice I can say the food is very good with friendly and attentive staff. It’s casual dining, with a line of what I assume are regulars at the bar. What the restaurant lacks in ambience it makes up for in food and service.

We rode our bicycles out to Paris Ontario to The Grand Bayou for a beer and a bite. Great atmosphere and such friendly service. Our dog Dusty enjoyed the ride and was so welcomed by the Bayou staff!!? The new back patio is amazing, comfortable and the food is always great! For sure we will be back next year when we do the ride again. Cheers.

We walked in at 12:30 on Aug 7, stood there for a full two minutes without being greeted or acknowledged. The lady behind the counter couldn’t be bothered even looking in our direction as she was in a discussion with someone. We felt like idiots standing there so we left. Not impressed.
