Awesome teas and knick knacks. Always love my visits
Amazing selection of tea and friendly service!!
I went to The Peddlar last week with my Mom and Step Dad for the first time. I must say that it's one of my favorite shops. They have an array of tea's, which is exciting! They also have other real lovely stuff there, quilts, tea cups, tea pots etc.. I had selected two different teas that can't be found found in your everyday grocery store, French Lavender and 40 Winks. I have trouble sleeping at night and finding the right tea to actually make me sleepy was a battle, but with 40 Winks, my entire body relaxes and I actually become sleepy within 30 minutes of drinking it. I definitely will be returning to The Peddlar!
Awesome selection of custom tea!
The sellers were very nice and eager to help, so please do strike up a conversation with them, they'll guide you to the most fun and exotic combination!
Worth a shot, especially with the value per portion!
Poor quality tea plus charged HST on top of it. I checked and tea is exempt of tax in Ontario so not sure why they charged me hst. Also the quality of the tea is subpar, and low quality. I consume a lot of quality teas and the two different types I purchased at The Pedlar are definitely lower quality. I will not be returning. Pity only in Canada, as the store is very presentable.
As a self-professed tea connoisseur, I was thrilled to discover The Peddle Exotic Teas during my recent visit to the charming town of Paris, Ontario. This family-owned shop has quickly become one of my new favorite destinations for purchasing high-quality, hard-to-find teas from around the world.
From the moment I stepped through the door, I was captivated by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The shop's cozy interior is beautifully adorned with shelves upon shelves of meticulously organized tea canisters, each one more enticing than the last. The owners, a husband and wife team, greeted me with genuine enthusiasm and a wealth of knowledge about their impressive tea selection.
What sets The Peddle Exotic Teas apart is the incredible variety and quality of their offerings. Rather than focusing on mass-produced, commercial tea brands, the shop specializes in rare, small-batch teas sourced directly from passionate growers and artisanal producers. I was amazed by the sheer breadth of options, ranging from classic black, green, and oolong teas to more exotic varieties like white peony, lapsang souchong, and pu-erh.
The owners were incredibly helpful in guiding me through the selection, offering detailed tasting notes and brewing recommendations for each tea. Their obvious passion and expertise lent a truly personalized touch to the shopping experience. I spent well over an hour sampling teas, enthralled by the complex flavors and aromas of each unique blend.
In the end, I left The Peddle Exotic Teas with a carefully curated selection of teas that I simply couldn't wait to brew at home. The shop's reasonable prices and generous sample sizes also make it easy to experiment and discover new favorites.
Whether you're a lifelong tea lover or simply looking to expand your horizons, I cannot recommend The Peddle Exotic Teas highly enough. This hidden gem in Paris, Ontario is a true delight for the senses and a testament to the power of small, independent businesses to offer an exceptional, personalized shopping experience. I'll certainly be making regular pilgrimages to this tea lover's paradise.
Lovely tea shop with a very impressive selection. Very informative and kind service. Not inexpensive, but I don’t drink coffee and have a deep appreciation for tea. I enjoy every single cup. ?
Good selection
Very happy to find a nice tea shop in Paris. However. The lady charged a fee of over $5.00 for my loose leaf tea. I did argue the point but gave her the benefit of the doubt. However I was right there is no HST on loose leaf tea. You have to take it home to make it.
Fantastic tea. Fantastic service Fantastic overall

Great tea but expensive. I paid $24 for 2 50 gram tea bags today.
Lots of great gift ideas, many tea options, and Very friendly employee!
Amazing customer service and amazing tea! I won't buy tea anywhere else.
Darling little place. Their Japan Sencha was a great green tea. Gentleman was very helpful but lady did not talk much. They have over 200 varieties of tea, something for everyone. They also have adorable Christmas decorations and such as well as some quilts. Must go back!
Very cute little shop. Found everything I wanted to make up the little Secret Santa gift that I was putting together. And the teas are amazing. I'll be back?
