What is life without a good pizza? Especially on the way home from a week long camping trip! Stopped in here by chance and was treated to great service, amazing pizza and an absolute delicious pumpkin spice and tiramisu paired gelato! The owners are so friendly, and helpful. Would %100 reccommend!

Spiteful owners. They made a false report of drinking and driving against my father who is in his 60's over a disagreement I had with them. My father had nothing to do with the situation. We just finished golfing, I had some drinks on the course, my father has been sober for over 15 years. He was driving when we pulled in, he was driving when we left. They had no interaction with him, he did not show any signs of intoxication, he had nothing to do with the situation. They called the cops out of spite and revenge of a petty issue, me asking for a lighter because I wanted a smoke while I waited for my pizzas. The owners wife followed me outside and attempted to patronize me over this situation. Like leave me alone. I dismissed her and told her she didn't have to explain herself. She said no, that's that. All the wife needed to say was no I don't have a lighter. Instead of following me and attempted to lecture me about how its illegal to smoke in Parry Sound which I was not in the mood for. I just played golf for hours, I'm hungry, I want a cigarette and I want to go home. Leave me alone you already said no. When she went back in, my father and I could hear the owner and his wife yelling in there over the situation, obviously upset. I truly feel the wife escalated the situation beyond what it was worth. I did not raise my voice, I did not swear. These kind of people scare me. To call the cops against someone out of vindictiveness and spite. The police said my father and I didn't do anything wrong. I asked the police what we can do about this situation they recommend leaving a bad review. I feel this business is abusing their power. Maybe the power of being a first responder and business owner are getting to their head. Not everyone is going to agree with you and this is how you handle it? My biggest issue is that they dragged my father into the situation. They made the assumption my father was drinking. They had no interaction with my father, he sat with me quietly. My father heard them yelling inside as well and witnessed the wife attempting to patronize me over the lighter situation. The police didn't test my father after I explained the situation and the officers could tell he was sober. I could see on their faces that they were annoyed being used as a pawn for revenge and spite. This business wasted time and resources on a false report of drinking and driving. I work in hospitality and would never treat someone like this, no empathy or patience. They came across very entitled and self righteous. I have put a complaint into Parry Sound over how this off duty firefighter behaved and the false accusation. Whether or not something is done about it I think it is important to document this type of behavior is representing Parry Sound and the firefighters of Parry Sound. It was really unfortunate to have ended a great father daughter day on this note. We still made great memories together and will eventually laugh at the petty behavior from this business.

Uses nothing but fresh local toppings along with authentic direct import ingredients from Italy. The Pizza was as good as you would find in the best restaurants in Italy.
Sandra and Maurizio were so welcoming and friendly, felt like we were family.
We’ll be back for sure.

Maurizio’s Pizzeria is a true gem in Parry Sound. Every pizza feels freshly crafted with high-quality ingredients, and you can really taste the difference. The place itself is cozy and welcoming, giving you that warm, family-style atmosphere where you instantly feel at home.
The staff are wonderfully courteous and attentive, adding to the charm of the experience. Between the flavors, the ambiance, and the genuine hospitality, you get the feeling of stepping into a little corner of Italy right here in Parry Sound.

Probably the best thin crust pizza we’ve ever had! The seating area is really thoughtful and welcoming, and the staff are super friendly. We tried the Shipwreck and the Raptors pizzas — both were amazing. One last tip: don’t leave without trying their freshly made gelato. It’s made daily, and the pistachio flavor was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this place to everyone.
