The lady, owner, was very nice and helpful. The chicken curry was great, nicely spiced, but sadly, for $18, quantity was less then anticipated

I had the fish and chips and they were quite good. Not a small portion as some have said although I think the pickerel is smaller, I had the halibut. I also had some samosas the next day and they were quite great as well.

You can get better naan and butter chicken at No Frills. I paid $90 for four combos.

I hope this review helps people. Initally I was put off by the less than 4 star rating, I called every other fish and chips place in town and they were closed or not accepting take out orders. Finally decided to go with Seguin. I was put off a bit by the reviews and the menu prices, it seemed way below the standard for fish and chips, but when I saw pickerel on the menu I had to order. Ordered pickerel and chips. The pickerel was amazing, no doubt it was pickerel, two nice meaty crispy perfectly cooked pieces. Fries were ok, nothing special. The tartar sauce is the packet kind which I actually really like. Overall great portion for them price, the people eating in the restaurant were raving about the quantity of food and taste and I agree. Now to address what I notice has brought this places' rating down. They offer indian dishes as well, but looking at this place it is clearly a fish and chips place. There is elderly caucasian staff working, I remember thinking how can anyone expect that the curry dishes will be great from this place? I wouldnt order curry from here. So, if your in the market for fish and chips, please don't overlook this place, you wont be disappointed.

Ordered butter chicken and Chicken tika masala plus 4 Naans…both dishes tasted the same because both were made in same wholesale big bucket curries from Toronto. Prices and portions were like we are in New York downtown. Asked if we can dine, said yes… but tables were dirty and cleaned only when standing for a bit and staring at tables. Finally took off and ate outside in the park. The Naan breads were the Costco or Walmart 10 pack Riwaj naan. Can’t even bake fresh Naan bread??
Good luck if you can improve on giving people an authentic Indian taste or else just be a pro in your Fish n Chips. You don’t expertise on these foods.
Thanks

Absolute disappointment! Tasteless and overpriced! How hard is it to serve decent chickpeas?? No salt in any of the dishes and the tartar sauce was expired! Looked like toothpaste! What a shame with such a good location. An absolute embarrassment to Indian food! The pics of the combos and what was served were not even close 🤣. Only thing that was worth mentioning were the naans unfortunately

Too pricy, food was average, service was ok. They are charging way too much for the amount of food they offer. The portions are kids size, reduce the price or increase the size. Not worth it at all !

Ordered halibut and chips the first time I went there and it was great. Friendly service, and good timing. I went on my lunch break so she was able to tell me how long it will be. Very satisfied and will definitely return to try more menu items. Thanks a lot!

The food I order is always excellent and service very friendly and caring. Sure fish is smaller on halibut because its price in wholesale markets has skyrocketed over last 3 years and is a very hard to get fish as it was overfished. Batter on fish chips is light and not like Henrys where you’re charged almost double the price and get more batter than fish in fried fish. Hometown feel.

Food wasn't Matching the amount at all. I came here for the second time, every veg and non veg curry is just awful. I would still say veg korma is worth it.
Moreover, the hall wasn't cleaned at all. We were the first customers today. Seemed like no one cleaned it yesterday night. 0 stars for customer service and food quality. I paid 40 dollars just for garbage.

We wanted to try fish and chips while in Canada. While we can’t say it was the best we had it wasn’t the worst either. They had a nice variety of fish choices and everything was very fresh and hot. Very economical too.
