This Starbucks location is one of the worst, I have almost completely stopped going to Starbucks all together in Parry Sound and am quickly reminded every time I go back why. I don’t know that I have ever gotten a correct order- staff is friendly, store is clean enough but the drinks are very inconsistent, and frequently very “off” from any other location I’ve been too. The drive through is incredibly slow as well, Skip this one.

I usually enjoy Starbucks, but lately the service at this location has really gone downhill. I waited about 10 minutes in the drive-thru, which is understandable when it’s busy, but the interaction itself felt cold and unwelcoming. When I got to the window, I greeted the barista with, “Hi, how are you?” and only got a smile in response. After I pressed “no tip” on the debit terminal, her demeanour noticeably changed.

When she handed me my coffee, I said, “Thank you, have a nice day,” and she didn’t respond at all. The same thing happened when I placed my order, I said thank you, and she just said, “Drive up.” It’s becoming more like a Tim Hortons experience, except at least Tim Hortons doesn’t ask for a tip at the drive-thru.

I understand everyone has off days, but Starbucks has always been known for friendly, genuine service that’s part of what makes it worth the extra cost. I really hope this location gets back to that standard.

Took 20 minutes for one coffee I mobile ordered before I left my driveway

I understand they have a lot of new hires but they were training someone on the bar at the busiest time ??? Kinda silly to me

I was not impressed with the lack of urgency for drinks being made & zero communication throughout it. Ex; I’m working on so & so’s drink now.

I am usually thoroughly impressed but lately it’s been taking ridiculous times & there is no friendly atmosphere when you walk in the door.

The supervisor on duty was unfortunately very rude to both staff and customers, raising her voice and telling everyone to leave the store. I understand that technical issues can happen, and I didn’t mind waiting when the online ordering system went down. However, it ended up taking nearly 30 minutes just to receive one drink, and when we politely asked for a refund so we could leave, we were told to process it through the app—which wasn’t possible in this situation. It would be helpful if the supervisor had more training on how to handle these issues and communicated with more patience and professionalism.

There was a power outage when we arrived and we waited patiently for it to come back on. In the mean time the older lady working who by the way was not wearing a hairnet nor ponytail proceeded to yell at us to get out of the store and so on. It was extremely rude and disrespectful. The lady actually rolled her eyes at my friend waiting for her drink ….also her treatment of the employee being trained was horrendous. This lady has zero business being in the food and beverage industry! Do better…
