We've been here twice each time we enjoyed something different each time; everything was hot, fresh and delicious 😋
Great place, excellent Corned beef hash!
Top Quality
Awesome Roquefort Pear Salad. And Linguini main course. Very filling. Great patio seating
First visit, tried their puckered and was very pleased. If you are looking for a fresh puckered dinner, go here. Friendly staff too.
We ordered two pickerel dinners for take out. I cannot believe they sent foot out to us like that. Fish had no breading. The fries were soft and un-cooked, and they just threw a bunch of cooked carrots in with is. It was completely un-edible. Also, they staff was not very nice. They said they might not be able to do take-out because they were too busy, but there was one car in the parking lot, and restaurant was empty. Pretty disappointing.
A great place for a visit though very busy and a little noisy
This place has lineups for a reason. The food is amazing.

Best place in town for a nice dinner. Everything tastes and looks like it's homemade and the portions are very generous. The only thing that I did dislike is that the drinks are not free refills and was caught off guard when we received the bill. Would have not ordered a second round of drinks had we known that prior.
We moved up from Niagara a couple of years ago. Down in Niagara, there is a well-known restaurant, Betty's. They have homemade pies, some of the best hot beef and gravy anywhere, and a very comfortable atmosphere with real homemade food. The first time we went to Trappers, my wife had the hot beef dinner, and we were worried that it just wouldn't be as good as our favorite restaurant back home. Welllllll...... Trappers has become our favorite go-to when we want some good, homemade, delicious food, a nice comfortable atmosphere. (and most likely the best desserts around. I can't get enough of their sticky toffee pudding) Usually I would never mention another restaurant in a review but Trappers had some really big shoes to fill when it came to matching our old home town restaurant. Now we very much look forward to our nights out at Trappers. There's so much on the menu I've tried already, and every time, it's been exceptional. Gravy is delicious, steak sandwich has been cooked to perfection every time, the produce has always been really good and the desserts......mmmm. There are so many choices, and all have been sooooo good. Coconut cream pie, sticky toffee pudding, lemon merengue, carrot cake. All have been delicious. The service has always been excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and comfy. We couldn't be happier to have found such a great place in our new home town. We recently went there for breakfast for the first time and as expected.....it was great. Also, I'm a very picky eater when it comes to flavors, how well things are made, and the products that are used. Thank you to everyone at Trappers that makes this home style restaurant as wonderful as it is !!
My favourite restaurant !! Food is delicious and service is amazing.
Old school dining experience. Warm and friendly. Wide choice of food options. We love it here.
My husband and I were staying at a hotel in the area. It was our 29 year wedding anniversary and wanted to celebrate. We knew we couldn't go in with our dog and called to order pick up. It was 6 pm and they closed at 8pm. We were told they are not taking anymore take out orders. Found that a little strange.
