Just left after waiting 45 mins for two burgers…burnt to a crisp. They apologized, gave us our money back and said they don’t actually own the food truck. Apparently they are taking online orders and are overwhelmed by the volume. Stop somewhere else!

Ok I get it is a Sunday and people are on the way home but 20 mins + wait on poutine?? It was average. These guys need to sort out their logistics and maybe simplify that stupid menu. Maybe if you took taco poutine off the menu you would be able to get fries out in a reasonable amount of time. Once you've paid and are waiting for your fries you're kind of SOL. Keep driving a little farther south on 48 there is another chip truck in the Petro Canada station where the limit drops down to 60 and there is no lineup there. There's nothing worth lining up for at Jax's red bus trust me!
Nice sideroad stop serving up classics like fries, burgers, deep-fried pickles & mushrooms, a varying array of Poutines and their specialty smash burger -Mac Attack. Friendly service, reasonably priced & clean picnic/condiment areas.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The price wasn’t too bad but I had ordered a chicken bacon ranch poutine and it came with no chicken no bacon and no ranch not even cheese curds just shredded cheese and the gravy tasted burnt decent size portions for the price just not that great

Stopped for a burger at a roadside food truck and was beyond pleasantly surprised. Courteous, friendly service and the best fast food burger I have ever had. Nice char on the outside, while still moist on the inside. A perfectly toasted brioche bun. Fresh crispy lettuce and tomato. Delicious. I'll be back.
