Beautiful building and atmosphere - lots of history behind it. The patio has the best view of the sunset horizon and the inside is cozy and inviting. Food was great with lots of options and local fish dishes. Our server, Alana, was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the island itself. We appreciated the tips she gave us and her kind spirit!
In our group of four, there were two with allergies to garlic and onion. Our server Alaina answered numerous questions in helping select something that would work. Then she asked Chef Scott to come to the table to confirm what he could make that would be pleasing. We appreciated their concern for us and for checking on us partway through the meal to ensure we were happy. The pizza chosen (with no tomato sauce, just a mix of veg and cheese) satisfied appetites and was pleasing...
Had dinner at Stone House 1891 on Pelee Island. The setting is charming, and our server Bruno was friendly and attentive at first. However, service faded toward the end—we had to flag down another staff member just to get the bill.
