It's pricey but to be expected when dining on a seasonal island. We just popped in for a snack and had fresh cut fries and poutine. The poutine was most excellent with lots of cheese curds and nice thick flavourful gravy. If I'm ever back here on the island I'd be interested in trying a few other things.

Less than a minute through the door and I had a pint and an offer of darts for the board. I felt right at home!

This was the best restaurant in all of Pelee the owner Danial was the best and the nicest business owner I met. The food was delicious and the service was great definitely would come again.

We had high expectations based on the ratings but when we ordered three appetisers we were shocked that all three of them were breaded. Here we were thinking we’d have a couple of light appetisers. Not great for vegetarians other than the standard veggie burger.
Okay, so it’s an island and maybe not easy to access good fruit and vegetables but lots of heavy food.

This restaurant/bar definitely not a 4 or 5 establishment, but being on pelle island expectations definite should be lower so me being generous give it a 2.. First impression definite requiring a makeover for building and decor table was like eating on fly paper my glass stuck to the finish or grit not sure🤔. Waitress seemed nice but not knowledgable about menu ex. my dinner and others in my party dinners was suppose to come with coleslaw when we received the dinner no coleslaw no offer of a substitution.. just ya we ran out of coleslaw then sound of crickets ..when you were expecting coleslaw but surprise all 10 of you are paying for it and not getting it.. fries greasy one order wrong.. glad i did not get the special the steak for 35$.. anyways carry on with your restaurant and do not worry about striving for excellence there sre only 2 to 3 restaurants on the island so you will always be in the top 3/.

Fantastic food, reasonable prices and great service. If I ever make it back to Pelee Island, I’ll definitely eat at the Dog & Goat again. Had the perch tacos and they were fresh, crispy and delicious. Good portion size for the money.

We had 45 minutes to return our golf cart and catch the Pelee islander II🛳️ and the guy gave us our food very quickly. Wings, garlic bread, tacos, and nachos were delicious! Thank you for the quick service🙏🏻! They also wanted to give us Lego but they didn’t have any left. But in the end we still got kites!🪁 thank you so so much. We appreciate it very much.
