We biked here for breakfast and coffee, and weren’t disappointed. This was the only place open before 11am on a Sunday and we weren’t sure what to expect. I was happy to find good, strong, plain drip coffee and my two teenagers enjoyed their coffees iced. My smoothie was topped with dehydrated mangoes, a pansy flower, and fresh mint. I appreciate those little extras. Customer service was stellar! They easily modified a breakfast burrito to be vegetarian friendly. Lots of seating options available including picnic tables with umbrellas, and muskoka chairs. The atmosphere was casual and laid back as fits the vibe on Pelee Island in general.

This hand sizes burrito in bowl which is not even a burrito costs me 14 dollars plus tax and tips almost 20 dollars. This is probably the most expensive meal I have ever had in Canada. Very disappointed.

We ordered 2 pizzas from The Shack and both were good. I didn't think I would enjoy the taco pizza but I did! Our daughter liked the cheese and bacon pizza. We will be back.

Dietary restrictions: They have cauliflower crust as an option

Parking: Shared parking lot with marina, general store and has pumps. Please be mindful of where you park.

Kid-friendliness: Mine includes pizza and tacos. Warning: Ice cream shop next door!

A must stop! Exceptional service (thanks for your patience with my gluten free questions, and our island queries) and pretty good food! Beautiful spot on the island.

Disappointing to say the least
We waited for over an hour whilst watching lude behavior from the staff inside
Very disrespectful lost lil girls
We finally received our food and it was terrible and not worth the over $110 we payed
What a joke for a few tacos
We only ate there because Monday everything is closed but I urge you to keep your money and stay hungry

We stopped here out of desperation for food and, quite frankly, that's the only reason we even ate what was served to us.At first, we were pretty excited about the idea of having tacos/nachos, however....The crumbled "beef" was questionnable. The "melted" cheese was ice cold and not very good at all. Even after hours of biking and being very hungry, nothing looked or tasted appealing.Do yourself a favor and pack a sandwich.

A moto trip from the mainland saw me looking for breakfast on a very quiet Sunday morning. No food establishments were open until 11am and I needed to catch the ferry at 12:30. I stumbled upon the Taco Shack looking for a decent breakfast; some protein. Had the breakfast burrito. It was an unexpected surprise to find a food truck on Pelee Is. that was open early Sunday morning. The burrito was delish. I’d go again.

Be prepared to wait. We waited almost an hour for 2 tacos and one plate of nachos. 3 very young girls working there and they were very unprofessional. On their phones, giggling, did not appear to be working even though it was busy enough. Go to the ice-cream store next door, and order a hotdog instead. Also, expensive.
