Was off our beaten path; it was getting late; and, we were hungry, when we came across Anthony's Italian Restaurant in Pembroke, Ontario.
FANTASTIC, is all I can say.
One of the best servers we've ever had: Hannah. Attentive, Calm, Informative, with a Wonderful Natural Demeanor!
The warm vegetable salad was spectacular; one of the best Caesar Salads, I've ever had (sweetened with the perfect amount of capers); Gnocchi with rich and creamy Gorgonzola and spinach; and, a Veal Parmesan like Mama used to make.
Comfort and Elegance at it's Best!

To say we were impressed with this restaurant would be an understatement.
Not only were we warmly greeted by the hostess, but our server Kristy was also very pleasant and helpful.
The food was excellent, we ordered a caesar salad and shared the lasagna which was more than enough for 2.
Kristy was an excellent server who appeared to be somewhat nervous about doing a good job as it was only her second shift.
I highly recommend this restaurant if your looking for excellent food, great atmosphere and amazing service at a reasonable price.

Omg omg omg, what an amazing find, food was absolutely delicious and great staff. Owner came over after and talked to us , so nice to get the small town friendly atmosphere with the food that you would expect in an upscale restaurant, we also talked about our beautiful Chinese Shar Pei that we’re watching from the truck out front lol

Excellent dining experience in Pembroke Ontario. The staff are warm and welcoming and the food is delicious and fresh!!! The best Caesar salad I’ve ever had, made with fresh ingredients! A beautiful, upscale and intimate atmosphere will delight any occasion.

Definitely won't be back. Server was horrendous, even if training you should know what's on the menu. Waiting about 25min before a drink order was even taken - we had bread before drinks. Then they were out of the drink I ordered. I was then advised our Server didn't have smart serve so can't even take / make / deliver our drinks. Server didn't know what the lobster medallion was, or what was served with the steaks. Took our order, but left menus on the table. Both steaks came out cooked the wrong temp, the 10oz ribeye was definitely no more then 8oz - thinest steak I've ever had. Server dropped out food and disappeared, never once checked how our food was. At the end of our meal we just wanted the cheque. Saturday night at 7pm and only 3 tables seated. Now I understand why.

Had dinner at Anthony’s and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. It was quiet, which made for a nice, intimate dining experience. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The overall experience was pleasant, and it’s always great to support a local business. Small restaurants like this are the heart of the community, and it’s important to keep them going. If you’re looking for a relaxed place to enjoy a meal while helping a local spot thrive, Anthony’s is worth a visit!

We had the most pleasant dining experience at Anthony's for our anniversary dinner. The food was amazing and service was top notch. My wife recommends the French onion soup to everyone that asks and the prime rib was out of this world. I would highly recommend that you don't just make this restaurant one for special occasions but for normal nights out as well
Got the New york steak. 50% fat for a $36 steak seems silly to me, but each their own. Also, I'm not cooked to what i wanted. ** update** i always try a place again, and since last time, there seems to be an update to either their staffing or inventory. Still expensive for what it is.
