Farmstead Cheesehouse and Gelateria

Great gellatos and sorbets. Same with the coffees, teas and hot chocolat....just delicious and nicely presented. Great daily soups and creative panini and sandwiches....A mandatory stop if you are in the area...highly recommended.
Bonus info....washroom clean and walls resemble a wood sauna, I liked it.

Wanted to try Farmstead for awhile.
New to the area.
Amazing gelato. Everyone tried different flavors. Unable to pick a favorite.
They have baked goods and homemade soup and sandwiches.
The pumpkin cake was excellent.
Lovely assortment of cheese and jarred goods. Nice selection of coffee to drink.
Friendly staff.
Sitting inside. Nice patio outside.
Very clean.
Lots of free parking.
Highly recommend.

We loved this place. The staff is super friendly. The gelatto is amazing!Is perfect for you to hang out with friends for coffee and chat. Or to just enjoy a book. They have a small bookstore.

I very much enjoy their sandwich, salad and coffee deal. Their gelatos are excellent. Once for dessert I tried the Affagato, espresso shot over a scoop of gelato (I chose dark chocolate ?), very nice. I intend to return.

Visited with the family. Service was a1. Local cheeses and charcuterie were exceptional! And the store itself was beautiful and welcoming. Exceeded our expectations! Will be sure to visit every summer during our annual visit to the area/family cottage.

So Ive been driving by this place for a year, every time telling myself "I have to drop in and try this place one day". Well 2 weeks ago I did. And I have gone almost every single day since.What a treasure spot this is! Their cappuccinos are to die for. Fresh, made with care and absolutely delicious. Their baked goods are second to none. They make fresh products each day and you can tell. Some of my favourites are the oatmeal cookies and the blueberry and apple cinnamon muffins.Their gelato is so fresh and delicious. Try the Niagara peach (made with real niagara peaches!) or the watermelon or any one of their several flavours. Lactose intolerant? Dont worry, they have gelato that is water based as well.This is a locally, family owned business and I love the idea of supporting this type of business.Have I mentioned that the owners and staff are very kind and personable? Have I also mentioned that their prices are very reasonable? Fresher and better than Tim Horton's I can tell you that--and more reasonably priced!I cannot say enough about this place. I am just so impressed and wish I had not driven by for the last year--I was missing out.In case you're wondering where it is, it's right before Hugli's Blueberry Ranch, just past the Quebec turn-off on the right side.Do yourself a favour and go in and try something. You won't regret it.--a well deserved review from the "double-cupped cappuccino lady".?
