Staff is very friendly service was quick even with a full house. Double bacon cheeseburger was huge real meat and filling. Great spot to eat.

Staff doesn’t listen, looks like none of them wanna work here. Slow. Had them order my food without even ordering drinks. Told me she can’t bring milk to the table then proceeded to bring milk to the table. Ridiculous.

Old time truck stop atmosphere..Good food ,service and pricing. Lots of parking, clean restrooms. Good in house baked goods that seem to be popular by the locals. Fuel and related items. Some fast grab and go food.

Went there with the family for supper we waited to be seated the server came too see us we asked for a booth as it’s easier with the kids and baby the server told us it will just be a moment and they would clean one off for us as she went to clear the table another couple walked in and another server came too see the and they requested a booth so the server took the one we were waiting to be cleared off so we mentioned to the server we were waiting for that both and were told we would have to wait theres none available so after waiting we got up and walked out and went to eastside Mario’s and enjoyed a good meal with the family

Stopped in for breakfast and had a good experience, as usual. The food is consistently good and the portions generous. The staff is wonderful, and nearly always smiling.

Quite busy on a Sunday, likely the same any day ... or night.

Pembroke happens to be along the way to wherever we go in Ontario. It seems to be always around there that we need a break.
Big Stop is awesome, gas, food and a bathroom.
It's a full truck stop, I think they even have showers.
The Big Stop restaurant is always tasty, reasonably priced and it's quite good food too. (No matter which one you choose)

Nice big parking for semi trucks always space.
Clean washroom.

Good food only to bad all Irving restaurant closed at 9pm.

The have a washer and dryer but no public use not even commercial driver’s (OTR)

Captain Obvious reporting only on the outstanding places a vagabond adventurer or commercial driver might find on the big road. A place has to be really really good. Or really really bad for me to bother with a review. This place is splendid. From the generous tasty breakfast to the friendly staff. And some home-baking for the road ahead. Thank you Big Stop! Great place to stop, gas up, eat, and shower.
We stop regurlarly in and enjoy the comfort of Mr's Leclair's services.
Very friendly personnel and nice ambiance in restaurant.

Over charged me for small coffee at Gas Bar store . Double what I paid 3 days earlier. Not worth my time to return. Tire air pump didn't work on earlier visit .. place very busy..

Our favorite place to stop when we are going to Ottawa and back home.
