Let me just say—wow. I haven’t had Greek food this authentic since our family vacation to Greece five years ago. We stumbled into Pita Shack on a whim during a Saturday afternoon shopping trip in Pembroke, and I’m so glad we did. From the first bite, I was transported right back to that little taverna we loved in Nafplio.

Pita Shack is a legacy family restaurant here in our beautiful riverside town of Pembroke. More than worth the short walk from parking, these folks serve up fresh, delicious food in a seriously gracious way! Love the natural wood interior—it’s the perfect spot to stop after spending time at the waterfront or hiking through the bush. Absolutely amazing!

I was gonna get a gyro the guy said to try the 50/50 gyro meat and chicken
I moved up here from Niagara falls with lots of gyro places this one was the best the staff was nice
