I have eaten in, taken out and keep coming back for the Sashimi! Excellent quality fish is my only concern as my orders are 90% Fish. I’ve uploaded some of my favourites from this month; the Chirashi Sashimi Bowl, a platter of sashimi rose (butterfish & salmon) and a few slices of red snapper and red tuna. The rolls are the OMEGA3 (no avocado) and the cucumber /butterfish maki. When I eat in, I’m normally alone and I order from the menu instead of all you can eat. The owners are kind and the place has an authentic feel. I love stopping after work for a quick bite, and bringing some home for lunch the next day. 10/10!! All the stars, I love it here.

The owner of the restaurant berated a new employee loudly while we were eating. When I paid, she apologized to me for the memory issues of the new employee for needing help remembering how to charge something. It felt terrible in general but as someone with ADHD it felt especially terrible.

Somewhat saddened by the experience. Judging by the reviews I expected better. It's Christmas Eve, but they seemed more confused than busy.
I ordered at 4:30pm and was told pickup at 5:30. When I arrived there was 3 others waiting for their take out and two tables of guests that seemed neglected. Two more couples came in while I was waiting for take out and were told that they could expect very slow service and that yesterday they had guests leave because of the wait.
At first the one of the ladies making sushi dishes seemed not to be able to find my order, but then she found it and said they were very behind and it would be another 20min. I have no issue with waiting a little extra for good food.
The restaurant was dirty and disorganized. Tables not cleaned, menus with caked-on food bits, kitchen areas with cooking implements all over the place in disarray. It was as if they never had the time to deal with the aftermath of the previous day.
The chicken teriyaki was ok, except for dark meat. The sushi was not good. The surf clam sushi was freezer burned and looked bad. The seaweed wrap was brownish. We didn't eat those. The roll was ok, but had the same seaweed wrap. The gyoza was a bit old and therefore tasteless.
Overall, not a good experience and I won't be back.

We stopped in because I am celiac and someone had suggested this place. The owners were such a delight. We had a great meal and she took extra care with my food to ensure I was safe eating. I really appreciated the care and attention

I got yelled at for just standing here and waiting for my food to get done. The owner who is doing the roll (in the picture) said do no stand here and go sit down I don’t want you to watch how I make your food. What an absolute trash of a customer respect. Will not come here again.
