My husband and I went to Captain Ken’s for the first time Friday night. I ordered the halibut and chips and he got the pulled pork sandwich and sweet potato fries. My fish was delicious; fresh, lightly battered and a large portion. The French fries were also amazing. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his meal as well. We saw the chicken souvlaki meal with Greek salad leaving the kitchen and it looked really great too! Very homey feel to the restaurant and the staff were very polite. We will definitely be back!

Services was good, atmosphere was very homey and comfortable, the food was large portions and was very tasty, though the Alfredo I got was fairly liquidy which make it harder to keep flavor on the noodles. All in all 4/5 I would reccomend.

Worst Beef au Jus I ever had. Beef was washed out and had no flavor. Jus, also no flavor. Fries were good. Chowder okay but not world famous. My wife didn't eat her beef sandwich. Server didn't seem to care.

Rather disappointed in captain Ken’s. Hands down, the WORST coleslaw / fish & chips in the area. The coleslaw was worse than KFC. And the establishment was dark and dingy… barely any lights on, no music whatsoever and a OHL hockey game on the tv, which was entertainment as a joke. The prices were essentially top dollar for medium quality food. I just can’t believe that a place that thrives on fish and chips offers the worst coleslaw I have had in my life. Will not be returning here, to many better options in the area. I have been doing good reviews for 10 years and I can honestly say to the owner they need to step up and be better or they’re going to loose to new upcoming businesses.
