Brought granddaughter to Captain Ken's. Service exceptionally slow.
Wrong orders brought to us. My wife ordered Buffalo chicken wings. They brought honey garlic instead. I ordered halibut fish & Chips but was brought pollock. Wife ordered glass of wine which was never brought to her BUT was on the bill. Fish batter was soft and Bland. Granddaughter had pouting which came late after we had eaten half our meal. The experience was not enjoyable. I would give Captain Ken's a one out of ten.

Enjoyed our food and server. Ice machine wasn't working at the time of our visit which made it difficult to have a drink (i prefer my beverages ice cold - non alcohol).

Went there on a Sunday, pity it was almost empty

We got the Pickerel fish n chips (2 piece). The portion was great but I’d say they could do a bit better with the batter as it was a bit soggy and bland.

Overall great service and atmosphere

Family favourite. Wait staff remembered my in-laqs from 20 years before (they were the ones woth five hyperactive kids from the nineties).

Stopped by here for lunch on a Tuesday (the hours need to be updated here) with my girlfriend. I tried the Alaskan pollock (never had that before), and she had the halibut. Overall, the food was good. I found the fries to be a bit overcooked, and the batter on the fish was very poofy and chewy (which is not a bad thing, but it's not my preference). The staff were friendly, and the portion sizes were great. They also have pan-fried options if you're looking to skip on the batter!

Used to be a great place when Captain Ken ran it. Fish has too much batter which makes it undercooked and soggy. We were 2 of 6 people on a Saturday evening, enough said.

My husband and I went to Captain Ken’s for the first time Friday night. I ordered the halibut and chips and he got the pulled pork sandwich and sweet potato fries. My fish was delicious; fresh, lightly battered and a large portion. The French fries were also amazing. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his meal as well. We saw the chicken souvlaki meal with Greek salad leaving the kitchen and it looked really great too! Very homey feel to the restaurant and the staff were very polite. We will definitely be back!

Services was good, atmosphere was very homey and comfortable, the food was large portions and was very tasty, though the Alfredo I got was fairly liquidy which make it harder to keep flavor on the noodles. All in all 4/5 I would reccomend.
