I went with a friend for brunch. They have a breakfast buffet on Sundays . ( I didn’t realize this before going, totally my own fault) I usually do not go to buffets as they are often too costly for the amount I ever eat. Captain Robert’s offers a discounted price for seniors. The food was delicious and the staff was incredible. Attentive, kind and went above and beyond with great service. I will definitely be back. It is so great to have this wonderful restaurant open . Thank you for a great experience.

We were ecstatic to see that this wonderful restaurant had opened! It was always such a shame to see it sitting empty. The location is grievous, with a view of the bay. Beautifully constructed and a warm welcoming interior. Lots of space while still feeling cozy and comfortable. We had fantastic service, a delicious meal and with the view of the partially frozen bay and the fireplace next to us we felt like we were having breakfast in a hallmark movie. Really lovely experience and the owners were so kind and genuine. Absolutely take the time to have a breakfast or lunch here!

Good atmosphere and server was quite nice. However, we ordered the seafood pasta and chicken pesto pappardelle and the food quality was poor.The pappardelle was undercooked (not al dente!) and the chicken was dry and needed salt. But the main issue was the seafood pasta which I could smell from across the table. It was apparently “fresh” and came in that day but it very fishy smelling and off putting. After a few bites we completely lost our appetites.I understand that sometimes mistakes happen but the chef was apparently informed but no one came to us to apologize and we were charged full price (and it was NOT inexpensive).Suffice to say we will not be going back.
