I believe the manager’s name is May, and I witnessed her treating a new employee with a lot of disrespect. The employee was doing a great job — I couldn’t even tell she was new until May pointed it out, but the way she said it came across as insulting. I also saw May put this employee down and make harsh remarks toward her. While I do enjoy the food here, I cannot support this kind of behavior.

Doran Sushi is absolutely amazing! The buffet options are incredible with such a wide variety, but the highlight for me was definitely the crab legs – fresh, delicious, and unlimited! The prices are very reasonable for the quality and selection you get, and the service was excellent from start to finish. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!

Ordered delivery honestly food was nasty chicken balls were chewy and tasted like they were reheated in oil definitely not fresh. General Tao chicken was rubbery and tasted like it sat for over an hour definitely not fresh. Would not recommend.

We had a terribly depressing dinner experience today (August 19th 2025) for our 10th wedding anniversary dinner.
It was our first time dining in, however we have done takeout lunch specials previously. We were served the wrong plate of maki rolls immediately. Only received one of the items we ordered. We didn't even have the chance to order drinks, or some wine to celebrate the evening. They just threw water cups down on our tables asked if we're doing all you can eat and walked away.
The waitresses, there were at least 2-3 working, then ignored my partner and I for nearly half an hour, before they came and filled our water.
As we started to mention ordering wine, or possibly having the correct sushi order, the waitress walked away quickly, giving us no chance. We decided we were done eating.
Atmosphere is great, it's a beautiful restaurant, however the waitresses ruined the experience and left us with the feeling of never wanting to return.

The food here is great, but the service is garbage. You have to ask multiple times for a menu / your drink / food. It's frustrating waiting a long time to get anything from the server. I would come here way more often if it weren't for the servers. That being said, it's not ALL the servers, and I always really enjoy the food! 5 stars for sushi, 1 for service.
