I’m picky about Chinese food and this is our favourite. We’ve been ordering from here regularly for 5 years now. Always hot and delicious, and the wait is usually reasonable. The kitchen is very open if you’re in the restaurant and I like being able to see how clean everything looks back there.

General Tao chicken here is always super inconsistent. Last time I had it, it tasted like raw fish/sushi. Wont go back unfortunately as its always a gamble. Its either 8/10 or inedible

This restaurant was closed for months (so they could go away) and was supposed to open in May which it didn’t. They finally opened in June. We ordered the same items as we did previously before it closed. Before it closed we paid just under $80. This time it cost $111.83. When asked why the price was so high and such a difference from the last time we ordered we were told that prices have increased. That’s a ridiculous increase and our soup containers were only 3/4 full. This is unacceptable.

Just finding the cost of Chinese food is going up with every visit so we have to.get a new menu everytime... ( yes the cost of food is going up I understand) but woe this is crazy... everybody is very friendly and always busy....wait times are crazy too..but hey its a.treat every once awhile...hey have a great day eh..

They won't accommodate a shrimp allergy. Just completely refused to try to avoid cross contamination. Said "we won't wash our cutting boards or woks. Shrimp allergy means no food".
It's not like we tried to order on a Saturday or something. It was a Tuesday evening at 5:30.
So ya if you have a shrimp or full shellfish allergy you won't be served.

Visiting family in Petawawa this past weekend and decided to treat everyone to Chinese. We've ordered from here before and it's always been okay, not great, but okay. This time a few of the dishes just tasted 'off'. Fortunately the little ones stuck to the chicken balls and rice because those of us that ate the off-tasting dishes were sick with food poisoning. My wife and I are seniors and it has taken until today to finally get over this and start feeling somewhat better. What a truly horrible experience for us.
We were pleasantly surprised how awesome and tasty the food was. The “Happy Family” dish was delicious! Go Go China will definitely be our go to restaurant when we come into town.
