Kelseys Original Roadhouse

We have been going to Kelsey’s in Petawawa pretty much all summer. Mostly for wing nites. A few weeks ago the wait was awful to get our wings even with a reservation. We were there over 2.5 hours before our cold dried out wings arrived. I had alot of people with me I let it pass. Well tonight Sept 11th I couldn’t hold back. There was only 3 of us we just had wings and sides. My company doesn’t know me well, so she was nervous to speak up and let me know all her wings were raw. So were mine and my child’s. I don’t mean a red bone. There was blood dropping off the meat. I quietly let the waitress know. She told me it was a new kind of chicken. Yeah I am in my 50’s and no chicken looks raw that’s cooked. She took our order forgot straws. Forgot the dipping sauce for the wings and the gravy for the fries. She was older and looked really tired. I pointed the rest out to her, after she told me raw wings were save to feed 2 teenagers and myself. Well we won’t be going there anymore what a waste of 70$ and that waitress maybe she needs a tad more training. Totally disgusted by the mentality in this town.

We sat with a large group of about 16 people. Our server was efficient and our food all came out at roughly the same time.

Alright food. Great portions. Absolutely no one greeted any of the multiple parties waiting. This has happened all of the 4 times I have visited in the last year and seems to be the norm. I've experienced many parties coming in and leaving after waiting over 10 mins without a greeting or anything from staff, myself included. The bar staff is amazing though.

Honestly is sad to have such a great restaurant with such a terrible service. I like going to Kelseys in other locations, but will definetly avoid this one. Since the moment of sitting at the table it was a mess, we got our food which was flavorless and the kids got no plates or utensils for them, up until we got the bill that was someones elses. And all this on a not so busy day.

Having the bartender serving food did not work. They were more responsive to drink orders then us. Just a bad experience staff wise. Food is normal Kelseys.

Great restaurant with a nice bar. Delicious wings (try that apple bbq).

Victoria M. was our server and she was amazing! She was so kind, cheerful and helpful. She went above and beyond in serving us. We would definitely come back and request to sit in her area. It is evident that she loves her position and she is a positive asset to your establishment. Thanks Victoria for making our dining experience remarkable!

Food is ok but hit or miss and often over cooked. I’ve never had luck ordering take out they always forget something. The restaurant itself could use a deep clean as I often see excess dust and dirt around the dining area.

The Kelsey's in Petawawa has great food and service. The servers looked after us really well and, despite there being a party close by, the noise level was more than acceptable and the service was still prompt and attentive.

Kelsey’s has been a staple in Town for years and we occasionally enjoy a nice meal there. We are never disappointed and always leave satisfied. Service has always been pleasant and professional as well. Our latest outing was actually a Party of 8 young Adults for a Birthday Celebration, and 2 mature credit card holders far away from them 😉! Everyone loved everything and the bill was much lower than expected. Well done Kelsey’s, keep up the good work.
