Mary Brown's in Petawawa is AWESOME both the food and staff. It is our favorite place to eat, a five star for sure. We've had breakfasts, and dinners there. Also a very clean restaurant, highly recommend you try it. Your taste buds will be happy.

Slow and pricey. One sandwich for $13 and super slow. Didn't have all the menu items either. Go somewhere else.
I’m absolutely appalled at the way the owner of the restaurant was talking to me. She argued with me on the phone that there was nothing she could do about a terrible chicken sandwich that was ordered through the app. It was inedible and by the time I ate it, the store was closed and I couldn’t explain until today. The owner then proceeded to belittle me about how I can’t understand things and was raising her voice at me, then when I raised my voice in return due to poor customer service she started saying I shouldn’t speak to her like that although she was literally just speaking to me like that. There is plenty of things she could have done to rectify this situation, she just didn’t want to.
Not very happy with how much I paid for a six pc tender box and they were near bite sized over cocked dried out and missing one. Won’t be back again

Manager was very rude and arrogant on the phone when they forgot my large fries. When I went back into the store to get my fries, the manager hide in her office and made me wait 30 minutes just to tell me I was lying and she wasn’t giving me fries. Refused to give me my receipt back and she was very rude and disrespectful to the other employees. If I was the owner I would be embarrassed the behaviour and customer service this employee is representing your business
I want to share a deeply disappointing experience I had today with Mary Brown's. We ordered an 18-piece feast through SkipTheDishes, excited to enjoy a nice meal with our family that was visiting . But when the order arrived 45 minutes later, our two large fries were missing—a small but crucial part of our lunch. I immediately contacted the store, only to be dismissed and told it was a SkipTheDishes problem. After waiting on SkipTheDishes, we were desperate to serve lunch, so I called the store again. The manager agreed to give us the fries if we drove there, but not before making it clear that she *personally* packed the order and was sure the fries were there, which felt like she was accusing me of lying. My husband drove to the store, hoping to resolve this quickly. Instead, he was met with pure hostility. The manager ripped the receipt out of his hand without even a hello, then disappeared into her office. After a long wait, he politely asked a staff member what was going on, only to have the manager snap at him, saying she was on the phone. When I called to find out what was happening, the manager coldly informed me that the owner had reviewed the camera footage and claimed the fries were handed to the Skip driver—so it wasn’t their problem. They demanded we pay for new fries if we still wanted them. I was upset but agreed, telling her I’d be reaching out to corporate and leaving reviews everywhere. Meanwhile, my husband, unaware of my call, was still waiting patiently. When the manager finally emerged, she told him to leave the store immediately, accusing him of yelling—which he hadn’t done—and threatened to call the police while the owner was still on the phone. After spending over $100 at this store, we were treated like criminals over two missing fries that cost less than $10. SkipTheDishes eventually refunded $11 (which included the delivery fee), but that doesn’t make up for the shocking treatment we received. I’m beyond outraged. I’ve never experienced such abysmal customer service. What should have been a quick, easy fix turned into an ordeal that left me shaken and disgusted. I will never set foot in this Mary Brown’s again, and I urge everyone to think twice before giving them your business. This isn’t just about fries—it’s about the principle. I’d love to see that camera footage because I’m absolutely appalled at how this unfolded. As someone who has worked as a server for six years and has relatives who own restaurants, I’ve learned a thing or two about customer service. When a family spends over $100 at your establishment and part of their meal is missing, the last thing you should do is make them wait longer and waste time pointing fingers. The right course of action is simple: provide the missing item, especially when it’s something as minor as $10 worth of fries. The potential for negative publicity far outweighs the cost.
