The staff at A&W were genuinely friendly and provided great service, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to expectations — portion sizes felt small for the price, and the overall quality was underwhelming. Cleanliness also seemed to be an issue during my visit, which was disappointing. Hope to see improvements in those areas.

I have Driven from coast to coast in Canada and been to countless A&W’s. I have never in my life seen any restaurant of any kind, have such dirty floors throughout the entire restaurant and washrooms. The table tops were almost as dirty as the floors.
Out of paper towels in the men’s washroom and the hand dryer was not functional.
Incredible that this restaurant is operational in this condition.
Even the ducks refused to eat here lol

Everytime I come here the employees on shift are amazing, they're all the most genuinely kind, upbeat people that make me choose here over anywhere else in town when looking for fast food. Food is also great and usually super fresh, but the staff really make it a fantastic experience. Couldn't say enough good things about them.

This place is very easy to order and get what you asked for. Friendly service and clear speaker for drive through. We have visited both in Peterborough and the other one is terrible customer service skills and frustrating to order from.
This place in North Peterborough is a pleasure and a relief to visit allowing us to have stress free order knowing both amazing and happy faces will greet us but also quality food and top notch customer service

I was very disappointed with the service during my recent visit to this A&W location. From the moment we walked in, we didn’t receive a warm welcome. The individual with the long beard who took our order was not courteous and made the experience uncomfortable.
After placing our order, we were made to wait an unusually long time, even though our food was prepared and placed to the side. In the meantime, three other customers were served before us. This delay was frustrating and gave the impression that our order was being deliberately ignored. I couldn’t help but feel that we were being treated differently, and it left me questioning whether racism played a role in how we were served.
When we finally received our food — the Nashville burgers, grandpa burger and sweet potato fries — everything was cold. To add to the poor experience, when we asked for ketchup, the staff member simply walked away without saying a word or returning with what we requested.
Unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at an A&W. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that appropriate steps are taken to ensure all customers are treated with equal respect and dignity.
