I've been in peterborough for 5 years now and swung by for the first time today on a whim to grab a slice for the first time. I was so surprised by the quality of the pizza, the slice wasn't even particularly fresh (typical freshness for pizza by the slice) but it was the best slice I have had in the town by a mile. The crust had a perfectly crisp bottom, with a pillowy top, not too thick, not too thin. The handmade sauce was textbook. The cheese was balanced, enough to cover the sauce but not a thick chewy slab like some places. Little burnt spots on the bottom gave it that well done smoky taste, but the pie was not burnt or over done in any way. The price was great too, truly the best by the slice pizza experience in peterborough, I cant wait to try a fresh pie next!
