The food was so good, we each had something different and absolutely loved it. They have an extensive menu with lots of different choices to choose from as well as an abundant selection of beers. The server was friendly and very personable which made the experience even more enjoyable. Plenty of seating inside or outside on the patio.
Can always count on a great meal at the Ashburnham Ale House. The curry is excellent and you cannot go wrong will the Ale house pot pie.
One of the best brunch experience in my life👏🏻. Great food, good customer service, cozy space. Atmosphere was amazing 🤩. Had a memorable time with my friends here 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
The best brunch experience we had. They use the best quality ingredients, cooking with love and from heart. It tasted like my grandmother’s cooking
We randomly picked this lovely place (Google search) being near a location we were attending an event. What a great find!
Quaint pub style atmosphere, great tasting food, very sufficient servings, good prices, efficient and friendly staff. What more can I say; I shall return AND I’ll be sharing my experience with many others!
Well done and keep up the great work!!!
Had an awesome lasagna and salad and some craft pints. Why eat at a chain when you can have awesome food and beer for the same or less?
Sadly our experience was a disappointment. The food was delicious however the service was almost non existent. We waited 15 minutes after being seated before my boyfriend got up to get a server’s attention. Our beers were warm (gross), we were missing an item from our order, and our server only checked on us once which was after we finished our meals.
We visited Ashburnham Ale for Mother's Day brunch - party of 8. Everyone over 30, 3 are over 80. Overall, the food and service were very good. Some of the items were exceptional - schnitzel, curry habanero wings, beef pot, Greek burger, pork belly soup. Even during the Mother's Day crunch, the service was attentive. In terms of atmosphere, it's a pub, albeit a really nice pub.
Portion was small
Food was good
Loved it all!! Great wings!!
Restaurantji Recommends
veggie burger is delicious but there was a couple hitting second base at the bar.. dinner and a show!
It was a good experience, the food was okay, the patio was nice and as well inside the restaurant. I recommend the ribs.
what a great spot! menu has lots of options (I got the roasty beet salad with goat cheese and added the citrus chicken. delicious - the house made dressing needs to be bottled & sold). they've done very well to honour the history of the building, which is especially nice to see in our throw away society. our server was super pleasant - really knew how to talk to the young kids at our table. if I lived locally I'd be a regular - it's definitely worth the 90 min drive for a return visit tho. oh! the g/f chocolate torte is A+; sumptuous, velvety with just the right amount of decadent richness without being too sweet. a perfect finish. cheers 🍻
Food was just ok. Staff/service were good though, and the place seemed nice. I had the curry chicken..wasn't bad, but nothing to write home about. Others said their fries were not so good.
Ordered the coconut chicken curry main for take-out. I paid $24 for a small scoop of rice, a couple of soggy veggies, 3 pieces of chicken chunks, and a mid curry sauce. $24. You can get a much better dish for half the price from Saigon Boys.
Won’t be in any rush to come back here.
