Terribly disappointed today Came in for their “free come in your birthday” with my autistic son for his birthday today ( he looked forward to this all day) we made the entire trip down on foot and we come in and were told that they needed to see his ID card and download some app for a barcode to scan - my daughter whom was with me went inside to do it just to be told AFTER the fact that you needed to wait 72 hours after downloading and setting up to use … wich make zero sense as Today is his birthday ! Dispute not knowing this was a thing until early today I was unaware that app was needed and even with his health card being shown there was no acception made - my son came out disappointed and upset hence me going in and having to buy him a cone. What’s with all these needing stupid apps these days for things and some people don’t evern own a phone. Never use to be like this as you use to be able to show the ID and nothing more. Got a large mint chip milkshake, it was LITERALLY TASTELESS... I cried a little. I got one from thr B&R in the Eaton centre a few months back, it was soo bloody good. Im 100% certain they are not using genuine iced cream. It's the only possible answer I can think of, it was the correct consistency, maybe a little on the runny side, but nowhere near watered down enough to explain the complete lack of taste. Asking corporate next...

Worst customer service and also did receive a cake which was melted and spoilt. When I went back to the store to complaint they were like you should freeze it and it’s not our problem that’s what they said no empathy or good customer service

We always make a trip to Baskin Robbins when we crave icecream. Our recent experience with the quality was disappointing. We normally get the same flavours, so we're aware of the quality. This time the coconut pineapple was stale and sticky - not fresh! And the Rum & raisin was a bit on the runny side. The service was excellent as always, but I'm suspecting they're serving icecream beyond the best before date.

Dated store but lovely staff. There are not many Baskin Robbins in our area anymore and this one is always a highlight of any trip to Peterborough.
