The beer is fine, but I’ve consistently gotten rude treatment from staff. It’s making it hard to support the business. Twenty minutes before close today, they couldn’t serve us a drink…delivered the message with such disdain, like they wished we weren’t there at all. Bought to-go beer for friends and left.

Bobcaygeon Brewing Co. is a great place to stop for a pint, with excellent value and a fun atmosphere. Their pricing is extremely competitive—during the week they have great deals, and the weekend we visited, all pints were only five dollars! For craft beer, that’s hard to beat.
The selection of beers is also impressive. There’s a wide variety to choose from, so whether you like something light and refreshing or more bold and hoppy, you’ll find something you enjoy. Everything we tried was fresh and well-made, and it made it easy to sample a few different styles.
Inside, the space is lively and welcoming, with plenty to do while you enjoy your drinks. From family-friendly games to shuffleboard, there’s a lot to keep everyone entertained. The only thing that could make it even better would be a patio, but it’s still a great setup as is.
Service was another highlight. Hannah was our bartender and she was wonderful—friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to make us feel at home.
Overall, Bobcaygeon Brewing Co. is well worth a visit: great beer, great prices, and great service.

We went here a few years ago when we had a cottage rental in the area. That was a great experience and we enjoyed some tastings and took a bunch of beer to go.
Today was not so great. We were back in town for an event today and stopped in to have a sample and purchase a few cans to bring home. It started off poorly with a greeting that was less than welcoming. When the bartender finished serving the couple that was ahead of us, I was able to get her to pour me a small taste. It was barely 2 fingers of foam in the bottom of the glass.
We left immediately, disappointed and empty handed.
Hopefully your experience there is far better than ours. Or better still, try the brew pub downtown. Our service there was fast and friendly. A wide assortment available for take out. Very enjoyable.

Today was my first time in the brewery and I have to say I will definitely return. The server Kristen was so personable and easy to talk to. They shared so much knowledge about each beer and gave me a perfect recommendation.

I can’t begin to explain how delicious refreshing and delightful this crafted beer is. I visited the Bobcaygeon Farmers market and bought two variety packs. Each and every single beer that I cracked open, I heard angels singing and giving praise. I’ll definitely recommend and continue purchasing this product.

Awesome spot to stop for beers on the way to cottage country. Our favourites to stock up on are Northern Lights and the seasonal chocolate orange stout.
