Accessibility isn’t optional — it’s essential. Lansdowne St Peterborough Very disappointed with this location. There is no proper wheelchair access. The designated wheelchair/disability parking area was piled with snow, making it unusable. There is also no automatic door opener at the entrance, which makes it extremely difficult for wheelchair-bound customers to get inside. I tried to use the washroom and again — no door opener. Accessibility should be a priority. Burger King, you need to do much better.

I’m really disappointed with my recent visits to Burger King. Two different times I was told the shake machine wasn’t working after 11pm. At this point, it feels like a regular issue. If shakes aren’t available late at night, it would be better to clearly inform customers.

If I could give less stars I would.
Totally messed up my order, claimed it was impossible it was wrong because he had packed it , refused to replace it until I told them no not only was the item missing it was the wrong item and then proceeded to check the rest of my food and it was all totally wrong.
He then claimed a coworker packed it and refused to replace my food and told me to call him the next time I ordered and he would add the food he messed up. I told him that was unacceptable and why could he not have it delivered now if he could in the future? I then started to record the call to which he hung up and then I called back and recorded again at which point he got belligerent. Totally unacceptable and inappropriate. And to think I’d order in the future so you could screw up again without apology, take my money and then refuse to replace, and then speak over me repeatedly until I spoke over them and left my name and phone number for someone else to retrieve the order in the future. Totally insane.

I don’t know if maybe the lid to the salt shaker fell off when they were salting the fries or if the employee that was working in that area felt like every customer that had fries needed their sodium intake for the entire year but it has been incredibly salty the last few times I’ve been here. Someone needed to retrain the fry cook.

The food was great and the service was incredible. The workers there were nice and responsive as well as respectful. Especially the manager named parul. He was very kind and respectful that made me come back to the restaurant again and again. Overall the experience was great.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Burger King location in Peterborough. The burger I received looked and tasted bad. The bun was dry and seemed old. The burger had almost no sauce, even though I requested extra mayonnaise and extra ketchup. It didn’t taste or smell fresh at all.
I have tried Burger King in many other places including GTA, London, Niagara (St. Catharines), and Hamilton, and never faced this kind of issue. The St. Catharines (wella d ave) location is a great example of how things should be done. The manager there runs the store very well and maintains top-quality food and service.
Here in Peterborough, I noticed the manager was not focused on customers. She was busy cleaning and doing other things while many customers were waiting. Customer service should always come first. Cleaning is important, but it can be done later when there are fewer customers.
Overall, poor quality food and poor service. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves both food freshness and customer service.

While the physical location is rundown and long overdue for a renovation (other than new shingles and painting the brick it's exactly the same as it was 40 years ago) ... STILL I find the food to be reasonably consistent and good quality, prices with the coupons avail in the app are very good (and many other good promos and deals), the drive-thru speed has improved and moves along well, staff are very friendly and personable. It's all pretty good. I just don't know why the place seems to have been forgotten about by the franchise corp, and why they've never opened (in all these years) another location anywhere in the city or county of Peterborough (their competition has multiple locations).

Guess we pre-ordered pick-up at a busy time... so we're waiting in line of about 6 cars ahead of us **and now 4 nehind us** cuz that's only option to pick up our order.

*I updated my review. I complain about having to wait but in reality it felt longer than it was. I think we're getting conditioned to be used to fast service - fast shipping, fast cust service, fast food.. we should all try to remember that our ancestors had to wait at least 15 mins longer... 😉
