Absolutely amazing!! Their dill pickle potato salad is delicious, and they’re such kind people
Very warm welcome from the lady at the front desk. The food is tasty and well balanced. Quantities are fair enough, some left overs but not much. Good price/quality ratio
From the location and look of the front outside, we thought this could be a great, eclectic place to grab a quick, healthy snack. However, during our visit, the dingy, none too clean, and dark interior, plus the unhygienic way the people behind the counter dressed and handled the food, and the rash I developed within 30 mins of taste testing and eating their salads were more than enough reasons for us to avoid ever returning to this restaurant. Ya, ya, I know, we should have left once we entered and saw the interior and or thrown the food away after viewing their food handling, but a friend swore to us the salads were good and we should try them. Sadly, the salads and restaurant were not to our liking and we cannot recommend it.Small restaurant in a takeout style with a chalkboard menu. Pricey for what you get. No wheelchair accessibility. Paid street parking.
Amazing food again and again!
Such wholesome and delicious food!
(Butternut squash and pesto quesadilla)
Had a BBQ chicken croissant and it was absolutely delicious. Will definitely return the next time I'm in Peterborough.
I ordered the smoked salmon sandwich for take away today. Honestly, IT WAS THE BEST SANDWICH OF MY LIFE! Even without this life changing sandwich I would have given you 5 stars as I have always loved your yummy salads, awesome staff, your use of local produce, and responsible packaging.
Really excellent food and cozy bookstore with compelling titles

Amazing food, nice people, little book store attached. 5/5!!
Their beet and kale salads are unreal!
My friend and I had seen a lot of people coming and going from here and decided to try it for lunch. I had the potato dill salad with Montreal smoked meat sandwich combo. The bread and food was out of this world! My friend had the roasted chicken sandwich with chick pea salad and some coleslaw. She loved hers as well! Apparently, we heard murmurs from the patrons that the soups are wonderful but they didn't have any on the menu yesterday. You can take out of sit down. Cute spot, great food and friendly workers!
I grabbed lunch to go and was very pleasantly surprised. This is a gem of a lunch place! I had a small salad and was able to try three different salads of the 8 or 10 on offer. I chose a curried chick pea, an Asian noodle and a maple and balsamic glazed beets. All three were delightful, full of flavor and fresh ingredients. I topped that off with chocolate diablo cookies-ginger, cayenne and rock salt-wow! Their menu is posted everyday online.
