First visit and last one too. This place is better suited for senior citizens because we were surrounded by them. Nothing wrong with that, it’s just that we’re not there yet. I asked for scrambled eggs but I got a plain omelette(?!) The home fries were overly deep fried. We asked for one coffee but it never came. The restaurant itself needs some deep cleaning and a few minor repairs here and there. Our server is the only great thing about our visit. She was gentle, warm and polite - the restaurant’s asset.

Relaxed family atmosphere and friendly people. I go in for the bacon bacon burger. The beef is excellent flavour, stacked with battered fried bacon and onion rings it is a feast. Lettuce Tomato and Onion of course. I had mine with a salad and it was artfully presented with a lovely dressing. Delicious. My friend had the burger with fries and he couldn't eat it all. Prices are very good and the quality excellent.

We stopped in while driving around the area looking for butter tarts, and it was excellent. The pizza crust is crisp and airy, and the steak wrap has lots of grilled steak in it. The fries are fresh and crunchy too. The service is prompt and friendly. As a restaurant attached to a gas station, I didn’t expect this level of deliciousness, but all the previous reviews were telling the truth. Chef Basel Cuisine is a must-do in Peterborough.

We found this place on our way back to Toronto for lunch. It was right on the way. They have versatile menu options. We tried butter chicken pizza and sausage penne pasta. The taste, portions and value for money was all 10/10. Pizza was soo big, and full of flavours, the pasta was very filling, had a lot of veggies and sausage and this was all grrar value for money food. I also had green tea which was served on a cute pot. The staff is very nice too, two amazing ladies served us. We would go again since it isn’t too far from Toronto.

We ordered a steak and a couple of appetizers, and everything was on point. The steak was cooked perfectly, super tender and flavorful. Apps were just as good. It was fresh, well-seasoned, and came out fast. Overall, it’s definitely a place worth checking out. Good vibes, great food, and solid service. We’ll definitely be back!
