ooohhhh boy. Good ol’ China Chef. What a gem. They whip up your order as fast as they can, they always put in 100% effort back there, poor guys. They have a great lunch special which is not only cheap but tons of food, no matter which one you get. On top of that, if you pay with cash, you get a discount. Obviously don’t expect your order to be 100% correct every single time because of language barriers etc… they’ll just say “YES YES” and make whatever they think you ordered, but it tastes good so who cares. China Chef is number 1 in my books! Great waiting chair in the restaurant as well!
I’ve been coming here for almost 10 years. Every. Single. Time. Over the past 10 years there always so sad in there :( u guys doing okay? Good Chinese food tho
Great taste, not greasy. Friendly service.
I've had China chef a few times now. Very consistently good. And their Dumplings are best in town!
Run-of-the-mill (In a good way) Chinese at probably the best price in town for the portion sizes.
^ There's the pre 2015 review. ^
Prices have gone up about $5 across the board now; food's still exactly what you'd hope for but the portions on any meats have been cut, the cost while still better than most places is bordering on not worth it.
If you wanna order, do it an hour before they close; they completely ignore the phone about 45 min before close; which I think is an absolute joke when I'm trying to get a pick-up order just after getting off work.
Its always good !
Had two takeout specials and they were excellent, fresh (!) and really tasty! Will definitely be going back
I ordered something and it was missing an ingredient that was listed on the description. Called them and they told me after that it was out of season. Not very honest
Just watched a China chef employee smoke a cigarette infront of circle k entrance while 3 children and one pregnant woman had to walk through his smoke to get out the door .....then he proceeded to go back to work at China chef and didn't feel the need to wash his hands ....
Fresh, fresh, fresh. Not heavy & greasy, all three kids filled and ate their plates, which means it was great !! Thank you for a nice moms night off treat. The friggen beef broth soup with shrimp and noodle.. TO DIE FOR

I am visiting from out of town and tried this place, egg rolls have no meat but the meal was good, I'm worried about the hygiene of this place no hair nets from the lady and the young lad that serve me, answering phone and preparing food, the lady on her cell phone and then packing food.

We have been coming here for years, the service and food is always great. However, they have severely cut their portion sizes to the point that a meal for 3 won't feed 3 unless you eat like a bird. With a tip a meal for 3 came to $58. Absolutely insane prices, I would rather pay more and get a decent portion size. Instead they increased prices and cut portion size.

The food is always ready for pick-up in 15 to 20 minutes and is hot. We have tried a lot of their menu, the combos are the best deal, the chicken balls (sweet and sour chicken) are the best, the chicken chop suey is delicious, lots of chicken and mushrooms but I sure wish they would offer an option with noodles in it, the C6 combo is a favorite and is enough for 2 people who are starving. The egg rolls would be better in a less heavy wrap but still good. I like the BBQ pork ribs but they are hit and miss and way overpriced and sometimes they hardly have any meat on them and are dry, but sometimes they are meaty and delicious (but still way overpriced). I won't order any pork as they cook it until it's so dry you can't chew it. Their pepper beef is very good as well as the veggie dishes. We ordered just an order of chicken fried rice once to go with something at home and it cost almost $12 and barely had a scrap of chicken or anything in it. The hot and sour soup is amazing (ask for less hot unless you like to burn). The lady at the counter acts like you asked her for $20 if you ask for extra soya sauce or plum sauce (and I ALWAYS tip) and never smiles but they've never messed up my order so whatever. It's pretty good if you know what to order. Oh, and the vegetarian combo has noodles but they put a smoke flavour in it that I'm not sold on. It's good, cheap, fast and close to home.
