Just dropped by on a recommendation, and so glad we did. I had the Meat Lovers Breakfast Poutine - really good. My wife had the Berry Blaster - a great berry smoothie. We'll be back.

Have been back a few times since that first review. Best breakfast place in town. Just got the Breakfast Quesadillas with loaded home fries. Yumm.

Copper Spoon in Peterborough is an absolute gem. We stopped in during a hockey weekend and wow, did it ever impress. Our waitress was incredible, friendly, quick, and genuinely made the whole experience even better. The food was delicious across the board and the portions were just right. And the doughnuts… honestly, some of the best I have ever had. Fresh, warm, sugary and completely irresistible.

We’ll definitely be back and I cannot wait to tell the rest of the hockey moms that we found a new favorite spot. If you are in Peterborough, do yourself a favour and go.

First time visiting today. I love breakfast. I enjoy a weekend morning at a local place and the Copper Spoons team do not disappoint. Freshly shredded potato hash!! Everything is seasoned and presented so appetizingly. Maple syrup served in mini cast iron kettles, heated! Huge cogmffee cups filled with fresh brewed Java. It is THE spot. Hands down. Be ready to wait bc people.libe up every morning for a spot.

Our Trent student is not a big fan of eggs for breakfast so we qere thrilled to see so many options that were beyond the regular basic eggs. Amazing meal. Generous servings. Perfect waffles. Great service, great food. Well done.

The food is delicious, super friendly service and super comfy atmosphere. I had the real turkey club and it was so fresh and delicious. The multigrain bread tasted like it was baked that morning. My husband had a standard breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, homefries, fresh rye bread toast with fresh strawberry jam. Everything was amazing and the prices are extremely affordable! I will be back next time in the area!

Excellent, speedy service. Food was great, the fresh and warm donuts at the end was an amazing touch. Server was friendly and seemed to know a lot of the regulars, even knew their orders. 10/10 would recommend.

We visited on a weekday and there was still a line. Not sure if someone called in sick but there was only one person working on the front line, so it took longer to have tables cleared, seating people, and taking orders. The food tasted average.

Amazing food and service. We travel a lot and this is one of the best meals/breakfasts we've had in a long time!

I bet they could double in size and stay busy. Great work owners and staff!

Not being from the area and passing through, I consulted Yelp and found this spot for our lunch based on its great reviews. It was spot on. Our meals were delicious and it was obvious to me they were doing things with a slight twist which made the basics, not so basic. I’m admittedly not fond of restaurants being a decent cook myself and fussy, so I’m rarely impressed and resent spending money out on things I make better at home, but this was a real treat. It’s a tiny space, and we were sitting in the middle of the room which was a tad uncomfortable being elbow to elbow with the next table but I’m sure seated on the exterior walls would be more comfortable.
It’s a very popular spot as it turns out with people waiting outside, so we were lucky getting the last two seats and walking right in.
I believe they take reservations. But it’s better to be small and packed, than big with empty seats. Our server ran her feet off cheerfully and it was obvious knew many of her clientele. They are only open for breakfast and lunch and close at 2. Certainly worth a visit if you’re looking for a delicious meal at reasonable prices. Definitely exceeded our expectations.
