Dropped by on a scorching day and was genuinely impressed with the quality of the food—fresh, satisfying, and exactly what I needed. That said, the customer service was a bit lacking. The staff seemed overwhelmed, likely due to how busy it was, and it made the experience feel rushed.

Poorly trained staff , unable to take order and deliver food in an appropriate time. Watched one crew member mop the floor and handle food without washing

Horrible, I had a gift card and the worker charged the wrong amount and proceeded to make me pay out of pocket after I showed her there was still money left on the card. Then I was handed 2 cups of complete soup. The only reason I went was because I had a gift card as I won’t pay money out of pocket for this garbage. Picture included of what is apparently acceptable to hand to people

They use the 99 center hot sauce to mix with ranch. Make sure to miss gravy, toppings , syrups on blizzards and the most no dressing for salads.

I go to this dq often as it’s near my house. I ordered a cheese burger through the drive through and it was clear it was reheated via microwave. It tasted like dry rubber you could barely eat it. And not to mention the bun and ketchup were absolutely scolding hot which made it obvious it was reheated as just a hot patty wouldn’t make the ketchup and bun that hot you could barely hold it. I would never purchase a meal from this location again. People pay good money for fast food and clearly the staff doesn’t care. You’re better off going up the road to McDonald’s or a&w.

The woman working the window at 4:30 today was superb! Friendly, enthusiastic, and polite! Other places in PTBO could learn a thing or two from her!

Ordered a 7up with my meal and got a nice cold fresh cup of water .through the drive through how is that possible when it’s a big machine . The food isn’t the only thing that’s cooked in that restaurant

It’s Dairy Queen, overpriced ice cream, but somedays - worth it. Should upgrade their system, so they can scan for the point system. No point in a point system if you can’t collect points.

Horrible service! Stood at the counter for 15 mins approx. before anyone came to take my order. And even then, they didn't apologize for the delay. Staff were barely cordial. They looked absolutely miserable. Terrible customer service. Not a great experience at this DQ. Atmosphere was also low due to the type of clientele at this location. Very low income, screaming kids, rough characters, etc. The building also is starting to look run down and old. However, the food I ordered for takeout was delicious and I used deals in the app so the prices were good.

As a long time patron of this location I don't feel great posting such a negative review but after an order screw up, I feel the need to.

Tonight we ordered the Smarties Cookie Collision Blizzard. My daughter has a peanut/nut allergy and it's the type that triggers anaphylaxis, and if no intervention is done, that leads to death. Now I grew up with the same allergy. It sucks but you learn to live with it and risk manage certain treats and restaurants. We looked at the ingredients for the Collision Blizzard and there are no nut products in it.

Luckily before consuming the Blizzard my wife noticed the smell of peanuts. I also confirmed that there was definately peanuts, likely in the form of peanut butter, mixed in with that blizzard.

Growing up with the peanut allergy the smell of peanuts sets off alarm bells I'm my head, therefore we had zero doubt of what the Blizzard contained.

We understand that any DQ product could come in contact with other ingredients including peanuts. Hence why we as parents do what we can to order treats that don't contain any.

Anyone with kids with anaphylaxis reactions understands that eating out at any establishment carries a degree of risk but we do everything we can to risk manage it. We always have epipens on us in case of a mistake or screw up so that the symptoms of anaphylaxis can be stalled or reversed.

We won't be avoiding DQ as a whole because I have never had an issue like this in the 30 years I've been going to DQ restaurants.

That being said we will not be attending this location in the future due to the mistake. If we have made a genuine mistake in our reading of the ingredients I will be happy to pull down this review.

edit: Thanks for the automated DQ reply that's attached to any negative review. The link goes nowhere and they will do nothing to rectify any issues.
